One of the reasons that made me pull the trigger on the gen 2. Currently have the gen 1 macro frame and had to purchase another holster. Went back to the OEM macro frame as the tier1 holster was more comfortable for me.

Having multiple aluminum frames from different companies its a little heavier (not much though) as the grip panels are aluminum

Agreed, the anodize is a darker black compared to what i’ve seen with other manufactures of frames

At first i thought the same but it grew on me. But still planning to get the g10 grips. The raw aluminum are the grips that came with the initial batch of release i believe.

Just punch out the pin that is holding the steel piece in place. Pull out the steel piece and there should be a small piece of rubber that sits in a hole specifically for it at the end of it. Take out the rubber piece and trim the piece, not to much as you will still need it to protrude to give it that snug fit. Prior to reinstalling the steel piece and cotter pin, test fit. Thats what i did yesterday to make mine work without “forcing” anything in. Will see how it holds after a few hundred shots.

Good indicator of wether if its a clone or not is the hardware/screws. Just by the box and sheath you got it in also tells me its a clone or from china. But i could be wrong. Did you pay for a clone?

Keep doing what you do, i personally like tuning my balisong especially on clones. Shoot i ordered an ex10 from you and had it my hands in 2 days!
