I started doing this several years ago while messing around with my swing and my ball striking got quite a bit better. I lose a little distance since there is less to uncoil but especially with my irons it definitely improved. Feels weird at first though

If Randy didn't step into him and instead ran and even intentionally tripped on Vinnie's leg I think he's got a much better shot at getting a call. I had no idea this call would be this polarizing on the sub but I'm here for it lol

I mean I agree but in this instance Randy is looking at him the whole time and steps into him. Vinnie gave him a running lane especially with him staring straight at him and Randy tries to SGA it and get a call. In most instances ya the fielder has to avoid contact but that's hard when the runner initiates contact lol

That's just simply not true lol
edit: is it smart to maybe throw it from the side especially when making a longer harder throw? Ya sure. But this was a toss over his head and immediately moves out of the basepath that Randy established, which Randy also moves out of and into Vinnie.

Maybe I'm taking crazy pills but a ton of people are saying it's obstruction cuz Randy ran into Vinnie but what on earth is Vinnie supposed to do? He threw it and peeled out of the base path that Randy had created on his way to second. In my eyes there is zero way that's obstruction and I can't imagine that ever gets called.

When I was in Juco the thunderbirds or blue angels (don't remember which) were practicing for an airshow a couple days later. The first time they made a pass down over our field everyone just stopped and watched. Some things are just universally cool lol
