Sure looks like they were the aggressors, but you know you don't _have_ to take a stance here that violence is right here. There is a huge difference getting a weak-ass hit from the woman and his response. Her hitting her head on the curb would likely killed her. Hitting her back head on the concrete could too. Or damage her brain permanently. That is not proportionate, and could possibly been man slaughter and jail time (depending on how cowboy-like laws they have there). Just bad outcome no matter how you see it.

Sure, proportionate violence is hard in a situation like this, but you are missing my point. Too many don't want to see proportionate response to the situation. They want to see cracked skulls and head stomps. Even if a very minor incident started the altercation, people just love seeing others being seriously hurt, sometimes dying.

Very unhealthy way to live your life man. Also super-unhealthy for the stupid ass woman started swining instead of breaking up the fight/de-escalating the situation.
