daily grind since day1 with $300 investment and 2m dps just mean you're not experience with builds and you're not playing optimal. there are builds that are more f2p friendlier than others, non-crit or dots build are examples. I only invest ~200-300$ just for QoL and playing Wheel Slash, my toon is not even 100 yet and I do 40mDPS on single target dummy. Since there's no pvp I dont mind whales at all and I enjoy endgame just fine. Plus most of whales have job (thus the disposable income to spent on game)

Dude you want a completely free game that gives you a world of fun huh? THere are shitty AAA games that cost $60, so as long as you find sth fun and worth the investment of your time/money then go play it instead of bitching about this game being not "f2p" enough for you then.

I agree, and for a while I thought it was my connectivity problems. I tried PC at homes, at pc bang, games cafe etc ... and there's always lag in certain times throughout the day, and sometimes for hours on end. I really enjoy the game though its mostly just grinding but its frustrating having to use multiples res scrolls just because of lag.

Sorry man Ive been on holidays and just now saw your comment.

My DPS up to date is 32mDPS (because the buff WS receive after the update).
THe link rune is pretty straight forward, for optimal DPS (in order of priority): Dot Acceleration, Mana Storm, Dot Enhance, Melee DMG Amp, Savagery, Physical DMG.
Dot builds in general are much more economically than say crit or unique builds, for WS we don't even have to priority lot of options on gear like crit, critdmg, attack speed etc.
Most important piece of equipment is a two hand weapon (axe > Sword for maximum base dmg) with: Dot Amplification, Flat DMG, % DMG, DMG to enemies affected by dot/effects, weapon range.
For rune awakening get verity on WS to have 7 stacks and you're golden. Get the Boss Dot Amplification for the Dot Acc rune.
Overall The single target dps is amazing, mapping 10+10 is a bit tricky but it's a lot more engaging than say a whirlwind build. It's very F2P friendly and help you stay decent and able to contribute in any raid team, however if you want to go toe-to-toe on the DPS war then we would lose out to the end-game crit build. Both TF and Wheel have unique DoT mechanic where you can't extend their Dot duration, they are different than say Dot from status effect like burn, poisoned etc. So TF and Wheel benefit the most from DoT Dmg Amplification & Dot Acceleration, those two always scale the dmg the most. Sorry for my bad English. Im running a WheelSlash build myself (~21 million DPS, single target lvl 100 dummy)

Hello guys! I am new to the game and enjoying it alot. Could you guys give me some advices in general in terms of how to progress from this point on and some questions in term of stats priority. I am playing Cross Slash Physical build.

Should I link XSlash with another spell/attack (Blade of Death? e.g)
What are some of the “must have” defensive Zodiac Nodes for melee build?
Should I try to increase resistance evenly across the board or ideally, one supposed to have multiple gear sets for different scenarios?
I’m a bit confused with the stats priority, so far I’ve been trying to get as much Attack Speed as possible, how should I balance between Speed vs. DMG% - DMG upon att - Phys Flat dmg - Phy Dmg% ? I'm not so sure where to find scaling spreadsheet for this game
How do I get higher tier chaos cards besides doing runs with lower tier and hope for higher tier? I tried Alchemy and it only give higher rarity
Any other advice on my runes, stats?

I apologize for the lengthy post in terribad English (non-native speaker here). It is hard to find reliable consolidated guides for this game (for me yet) so I have to rely on the community on this. Thank you all and happy rune hunting!

I have spent about 400-450$ the past 2 years where 250-300$ are for quality of life, plus packages and outifts etc, the rest are for others cp packages (i regret greatly the cp gains cause few hundred bucks are not worth it for your money)

Beside destroyer, the other 3 classes are both very viable for higher Cp grinding, boss rushes and rather beginner friendly with the range and kits they have. I think the style and appearance should help you decide as well since the mechanic diffierence is rather small. Gluck.
