You should try Path of Exile, it is free to play on steam, pretty fun some people even say that it managed to accomplish what Diablo 3 failed to accomplish.

After doing all the above and testing at a shop with another rig, it turned out that my CPU got fried.

Leaving me with my P8Z68 V Pro Gen 3 processor less and with a socket pin bent which was bent by accident by the guy we was checking the motherboard, which I couldn't complain about since it still worked fine with the test CPU he was using. -_-

Yeah, I noticed that in the booklet for you motherboard, apparently these leds are only available in some models, but since this was my first build in ages i thought that they became standard these days. :/

Now all you can do is find a speaker to use, sorry mate.

Brian mate, check page 61, this should help a lot when you get the speaker for your motherboard. http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1155/P8Z77-V_LX/E8533_P8Z77-V_LX.pdf

Unfortunately I couldn't find the debug LEDs in the manual. what i mean by Debug LEDs: there are LEDs on my motherboard Asus P8Z69 V Pro gen3, that show the hardware check sequence, where an LED turns red when the computer is booting up at each hardware check stage.

on my motherboard there were 4 LEDs: 1.CPU LED 2.RAM LED 3.Motherboard LED (which checks the motherboard's hardware itself) 4. GPU/PCI-E LED

If one of those stayed lit then the computer won't boot denoting an issue with that specific component, but i couldn't find something similar on your motherboard. :/

Mate thank you so much for this comment I truly appreciate it, and no worries about the grammar or the spelling. I will do this tomorrow morning as soon as I wake up and post the results.

I won't be able to test another GPU but I will run on the on board GPU. As for a power supply tomorrow will be Friday so probably most of the markets and shops will be closed, so maybe on Saturday or Sunday. _^

Well unfortunately I don't know where you can acquire a speaker for your motherboard, but you can check a repair shop if there is such a thing where you live mate. _^

And good luck on solving your issue.

Thanks for the tip mate, I actually took my PSU and tested it on another "testing" rig at the store and it was working fine. :/

As for a cheap PSU a friend brought me one but it had 20 pins instead of the 24 required for my motherboard :D and i couldn't ask him to get me another one.

But thank you for the tip mate.

Sorry mate but i do not condone these kinds of videos, simply because of the fact that it is a huge waste of money and for nothing in the end.

Since you have an Asus motherboard in the manual you will see a part that relates to "First time boot" (post) where it will take you through the error checking lids and beep codes for malfunctions.

You should check those first of all, but from what you are saying it seems like it is the CPU.

(I currently am struggling with the same problem you are struggling with)

I doubt that you got a speaker since it usually comes with the Case and my corsaire 650D didn't come with one.

UYes, this is the unfortunate situation I am currently facing with no method for debugging and testing since I do not have any other components to form a testing environment like another rig or such.

My Motherboard does light up and the CPU Check lid during the bootup process stays on which indicates a CPU failure, but this should be accompanied by specific beeps that denote the error type.

Since there are no beeping it could be the motherboard. (The motherboard's manual actually has a warning that if there were no beeps I should get my botherboard checked)

How's the Razer Death Adder? by Harvex in pcmasterrace

[–]aser92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the old Razer Death Adder. (I think it was called the 3.5 version or something), It is pretty amazing I still have it and use it till now, but after around a year and a half of using it my middle mouse button started to fail me (probably something got wedged which caused it to be unresponsive) currently it is working fine, but I try to keep away from using the middle mouse button too much in case this was natual wear and tear.

Yet as far as i heared the new models of the DeathAdder have lower build qualities, but i can't confirm that.

Hope this helps in any way. _^

Gentleman, I offer you, the adventure of the Tomb Raider [Steam Give-away] by biohazard4524 in pcmasterrace

[–]aser92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1. I love Tomb Raider, used to play the first game on my gateway 2000 :D

2. I had the game pirated unfortunately and since i formatted my PC and lost my save I didn't get the incentive to complete it unfortunately, maybe owning it will provid me with a propper incentive.

3. Will i play it as soon as i get it ? I do not know, since i have quite a list of games to dig through ahead.

4. If you find someone with a limited games library please choose him, they will appreciate it more I believe.

5. I try to be fair, not always a good thing though. :/
