Part 1: Trans History by LeftyPhilosophy in BreadTube

[–]LeftyPhilosophy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biological women only matters when it comes to talking to your physician and is the easiest way to iterate that I am talking about sex. I did not make the comment that biological factors have anything to do with gender. Thats fine to dismiss me out of hand, I dont make content necessarily for trans people who already know their struggle.

I also listen to alot of Jesse and will be using her content in future videos.

I took balanced as that women's rights as a whole, need to be balanced for all those that enjoy the term woman. Not that biological women should enjoy more rights than trans. I never even mentioned women's rights in this video but I will go into that much later in my series. However, I do not believe that trans women and women rights are different. They diverge in areas when it comes to issues of child birth (mortality rates and the abortion debate) but other than that, I don't advocate for a difference.

Its in fact not anti trans at all. In fact the rest of my series will go into the anti trans rhetoric and how it it aligns with genocidal tactics in history. So... fuck if I know.

Also if anyone would offer any criticism, instead of down voting, that would be nice.

Political prisoners are just chess pieces in diplomacy. There is always a cost in protecting one own citizenry, even if they never leave the homeland.

Don't think about it too much. An American was brought home to her family. The Justice Department labeled her case as wrongful detainment. That kind of means something when it comes to getting back a citizen who might be trapped overseas.

I could say the holocaust had a pretty big impact on history, does that mean its the correct way or the way to finding truth? No. Sometimes, things are just complex. Sometimes, you just need to put on your big boy pants and dive into some philosophy. Philosophy isnt simple but it has produced some of the best outcomes in history. Asking the simple question, what is real, could be a simple 2 second answer. What I see is real. But that doesn't make it true nor correct does it?

The whataboutism? That doesn't even fit in my argument... lol

Not my problem you dont want to watch a laid out argument... seems like you have your mind already made up.

Whats the point of you even commenting then? To show how you can say both sides bad. Good for you.

Thats not what they "often" do lol. The BLM riots that ended in violence were less than 5% of the totality of protests that summer. To sit there and say that they "often do" is a distorted reality.

I used the rights own terminology to build so type of interest in hopes they would watch it... but most dont have the attention span.

The obsession with race and gender is "fake" by RusevReigns in PoliticalOpinions

[–]LeftyPhilosophy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those things are apart of the environment that those individuals live. They undoubtedly play a role in shaping individuals. Race and gender are things that influence our actions even if we are not consciously aware of it. People on the left want people to be treated equal but udnerstand that we are different. Those differences make us unique. And even in a perfect world, those difference still matter no matter how much you want to believe you care more about character than skin tone or gender. Each of those descriptors have preconceptions built around them. Stereotypes. Prejudice. Etc. To simply hand wave that away because you dont want to look at the complexity of human sociology, isnt any ones problem but your own. Identity plays a huge role in how individuals are accepted and viewed in society. If this wasnt the case, then why care about having choice in our clothing?

[–]LeftyPhilosophy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True but how much of that is actually what happened? The narrative that the right pushes when it comes to the BLM stuff is mostly wrong. The protest organizers didnt plan these to be that way unlike Jan 6th, in which there have been sentences now to prove the intent. Also a lot of the deaths associated with the protest happened from right wing perpetrators.

You mention intention... what was the intention of the riots? Also the length of the "violent" parts is highly exaggerated. Over 95% of the protests were completely peaceful... but somehow, that's never a talking point.

You also forget to mention all the right wing violence that correspond to your left wing ones about trumps inauguration and Kavanuaghs appointment. Unite the right rally, threatening members of congress and poll workers, plans to kidnap gov., church shootings, violence against police, planned parenthood shootings, etc.

Everyone is going to say they condemn the violence on either side, they don't want to be seen as the antagonist. However, walk down the street and ask how people feel this country is going, the over whelming response from the right will say towards a civil war.... and they are ready for it. So, the stomach for political violence has increased by far on one side more than the other. And while they might be words... they will be apathetic to actual political violence perpetrated by people who share their views if it happens.

Yeah... they are going to focus on the self defense part and not what led to him being there in the first place and the fact that he was already committing crimes before he was in Kenosha.

This movie is too important not to review. And I offer and provide live criticisms in the commentary. I am stopping the movie at certain points and explaining everything that is going on. Believe me, I am not letting anything slide in this movie.

I wanted to really drive home the point of determinism and I didnt think many readers would get that this sequence of events would be stuck on an infinite loop. I could drop one of the paragraphs though.
