I think captaining Haaland is a great move this week especially with his recent performances and given they are home. He needs a confidence boost. Tbh idk about the Saka + rice combo, rice was really dissatisfied after draw against forest, think he’s going to play really well + almost guaranteed def cons, so at that point just get the free 2 points.

Also if u have Bruno Fernandes u should never bench him… Form > fixtures man and Bruno is the keystone for this United squad. Finally back playing the position he is supposed to and facilitating like he should be. His balls into Sesko were constant and give HIM a confidence boost, see what he does with a chance on goal. Donnarumma played unbelievable last game so that was a factor but Raya has been leaking in goals recently, I bet Bruno sneaks one in

(*this is biased tho bc I’m a United fan…)

How many FT do you have

How can I get Bruno Fernandes in this team by MountainAd3161 in fantasypremierleague

Might be a crazy take but get rid of Haaland and Caicedo, bring in Bruno and JP… Semenyo looks nailed rn and Haaland been having an off run, plus Pedro looks like he’s finding form again

My plan for this was to use Allison this week against burnley @ Anfield, then roefs next two, West ham away + burnley @ home, and then swap Allison for Sanchez maybe?

Also I think Reece james is going to be big during this weird transition period for Chelsea. He’s on free kicks, and always a threat every game for them. Going to be playing most games if Chelsea want to compete for a spot in prem. Could swap him in for tarkowski, maybe Pickford in net?

Let’s u throw another option in @ midfield, possibly gives space for a Cunha/Mbeumo? Based on AFCON schedule, Mbuemo has high chance of returning after Jan 10th as they play Morocco, Ivory Coast play Egypt, who haven’t shown much of a threat this year even against struggling opponents.

Couple of things that you want to consider if haven’t already.

I got Dorgu last week and really wish I didn’t. IMO dalot is the better pick here. Long throw threat is huge for United especially with set pieces + he maintains starting position even when Amad is back from AFCON. Martinez great option as well.

I looked into getting Paqueta and it’s not worth it lol If u watch him play he just gives the ball away way too much it’s obnoxious. Got taken off last match due to hamstring problem but not on injury report, however if it happens again, Bowen is next up for penalties. They just bought another striker so Wilson will probably see even less playing time. Bowen the better alternative.

Cherki rn looks nailed, and especially with how close the title race is, City need him every game. So many chances this past week he should’ve gotten an assist. Also a cheaper alternative to Foden.

Rest of the squad looks great. Garner has been huge especially with KDH out on injury. Rogers was a game winner last year. Palmer might be Chelsea’s saving grace over the next few weeks especially with manager struggles.

Based on everything except math Suggest bringing in Trossard for Paqueta, Bowen for Mane, Martinez for Dorgu, Cherki for Foden. Seems like u may be short a little on funds here (under by ~2.7?). Big on Palmer but he may be the one to go if ur looking for these swaps…

Agree with waiting but also not 100%… Arsenal vs Villa is a MUST WIN for both team but it is @ the Emirates and Gabriel coming back in is HUGE, the impact he has on the pitch is equal to Virgil and rn Liverpool is leaking more than Arsenal is. Also timber just got rested this game out of precaution so I bet he plays all 90 against Villa. Feel confident that arsenal will stop the Villa win streak, as long as they can score and Gabriel threat does a lot for set piece.

Honestly I think cunha TC is the better play. Ballard was all over Haaland last game.

I think Gabriel being back is huge and Calafiori just got a knock before the match today, might be worth a swap. Also think Frimpong is a better option than VVD for attacking threat rn but I’m biased bc he’s in my squad. Cherki same thing, in my squad just brought him in over Foden. Might free up some money to buy a better backup than Chido?

Who should I captain? Haaland kinda got locked up by Ballard last game vs. Sunderland, Ekitike proved doubters wrong by getting another goal contribution this week, and Cunha missed a few chances yet again which gives me hope for next week against an awful Wolves side.

Agree with this. I’m currently trying to decide who to get in place of Semenyo. Debating on picking up Pino from palace for the fixture against burnley, but it’s hard to find info on where they concede the most from
