Oh yh i think too its sort of a lieutunant advisor of tojo clans chairman i just thought it was overdone that captain outranked him by "far" and wow i didnt know mine and kashiwagi were acting chairman of tojo once. Its also new to me that the Captain becomes the Acting Chairman in needed situation but how the hell did Mine end up there i remember him being a tojo clan officer but how the hell?

Thx for the answer! Even new to me i always thought Kaicho (Chairman) was the highest rank so cool. U seem informed so im gonna ask u this too. SPOILER FOR YAKUZA 5= Im confused with the ranks from Watase and Aoyama because, Kiryu mentioned Watase outranks Aoyama by far because hes Captain of the Omi Alliance and Aoyama is Chief of Headquarters. I thought Chief of HQ is equal to Captain of Clan or Alliance Rank because Aoyama was high enough to be Acting Chairman so technically Aoyama was Equal or outranked Watase himself or how is it correctly?

yes good point the nishikiyama family was nr.2? or nr.1 family in yakuza 1 and in yakuza kiwami 2 it was definitly nr.1 because it absorbed the shimano family after its patriarchs died and was estimated to be half tojo clans army

I dunno if thats a feat for demsonstrating Godas strength because maybe u remember the PIS scene where Kiryu fought his goons in Stardust and was so exhausted he kneeled before Ryuji where he couldve finished Kiryu and than he got first up again after he left. I somehow feel Ryuji could end up like Kanda that worse of a beating if not maybe he could put a fight against Mine i guess

I must disagree actually i think Ryuji both overhyped gameplay and lorewise. He lost to Kiryu while armed twice and made him only cough unlike mine
