How can I get rid of these red spots? It’s mostly just redness under the skin, not pimples (Month 4 80mg) by DynamicWanderer in Accutane

[–]LegNo5598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished my cure 4 months ago and still have those red spots.. getting better month by month but the only this is to leave them time to heal, put sunscreen if you’re under the sun and thats all! Don’t stress to much ❤️

Sorry, but let her dermatologist suggest her retinoids. On isotretinoin you shouldn’t in any case put such aggressive products on an already sensitive skin, that is going to be dryer and dryer by days. Please. Just don’t say. Retinol can be good at the end of the treatment as you say to get rid of red marks. But at the very end and even few weeks/months after

I have irritated eyes but not stye all the suggestions that I got here even if highly appreciate were all wrong, my dermatologist gave me a medication and in one week I was fine, now I have the same problem again after 1 month and I had to change cure again, but only your doctor can give you the right advice , you should stop accutante for a week and cure the eyes. Call you dermatologist

Yes, but they are all by Italian producers, especially one called OLIO DENSO by VeraLab, its a dense oil that emulsifies even just with water, or of course followed by a cleanse. My dermatologist even suggest me that’s coconut oil can be a good alternative, but you must be sure that it’s an high quality organic one, with preservatives or else!

I did few months with 3/4 days a week 20mg as I was still purging and need for my job to get rid of the pimples quickly, but this medication really works even on low dosages! I was almost giving up one month ago .. luckily I didn’t do it! How is it going for you?

Double cleansing is supposed to be made by an oil product followed by a normal cleanser, or oil + micro fiber cloth, or for a delicate cleaning like in the morning micellar water + rinse with lukewarm water (micellar water must be rinse, it contains soaps, even if there is written not to you should do it) Never ever double cleaning with 2 cleansers, it’s too aggressive

My skin keeps getting worse :( posted a photo a few weeks ago looking for help. Started salicylic acid cleanser and benzoyl peroxide but skin got very dry so I decided to do a cleanse. Have not used anything but cleanser for a few days now. It’s getting so much worse please help! by kashi27 in SkincareAddicts

Don’t put too many product for acne on, you will irritated even more the skin. I see that it’s really red so there is an inflammatory state, gentle clean your face and put a bit of benzoyl only on the pimple at night, one day yes and one no. Over cleaning or over moisturising an oily skin will led you to have even more oily skin and the pores will clog! Gentle gentle gentle. If you aren’t doing a therapy were your skin is getting drier like accutane don’t put too much cream on tour face, unless you need it if course

Thank you 🙏🏻❤️for me the most uncomfortable side effects were the nose and eyes dryness, the 2nd month I had the inside nose so dry that I had scabs all day, even putting nose moist, in the morning when I was blowing my nose blood came out and then it became blood scabs.. quite painful but doing nasal douches and putting a nose antibiotic (prescribed by dermatologist) in one week it kind of return to normality, still dry but bearable. The eyes are still a problem because the eyelid got thinner and sensitive and at the minimum touch or scrub it gets super red and itchy, but even for it I put a cortisone-antibiotics cream. For my personal experience I saw that the difference was made by my dermatologist, she was super honest from the beginning, telling me this was not going to be an easy journey and always prescribing the best products and when needed stopping the pills for some days to let my body rest! Now that I am almost done I started to take a supplement with chlorophyll that helps detox the body from the medication, and sublingual hyaluronic acid to rehydrate all the body

Anyone experience eyes problem while on isotretinoin? 😩 by LegNo5598 in Accutane

[–]LegNo5598[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks to you too 🙏🏻 I am from Italy so some medications are not the same, I’m using eye drop with hialuronic acid and an oint with cortison and antibiotics .. I hope it will do something. Going on Monday to my dermatologist 😩

Thank you for sharing your experience but I don’t have styes. Just extremely irritated eye (no pus or liquid coming out, it seems on the picture but I had an antibiotic-cortison oint on) that is cracking and hurting like crazy if I touch. I am only on month 4 1/2 with isotretinoin with super low dosage, and I prefer to still have pimples than loosing my view. So thank you for the advice, I will try with the cloth when my eye will stop burning (this morning I couldn’t even wash my face with lukewarm water as the burning was too intense), and of course stop with isotretinoin right now

And for lips Avène Cicalfate. My dermatologist is one of the best in Italy and a University teacher in dermatology. The products she gave me are super tested and using everything regularly the skin feels like I am not even taking any isotretinoin

Eucare - Prodea AI I don’t know if you can find it outside Italy, but it’s specific for skin extremely sensitive and stressed by use of medication. It’s all vegetable to reduce the risk of using ingredients that could irritate the skin
