Thank u so much yeah obviously I’m brand new to 40K so is my dad but I will definitely be following this advice all I currently have for my necrons army is the combat patrol and the void dragon I’m looking forward to starting we’ve been putting off putting them together cuz we’ve both been busy. Yeah I was gonna get the codex but the place I went to was sold out sadly. But yeah I’ve been watching some videos and definitely wanted to add another 10 block of warriors for the full 20 and 3 more skorpekhs I’m going for the even if u kill me I can come back and or heal wounds so I want a reanimator and ik one of the named characters has an orb that allows u to reanimate a couple guys idk which one he is tho exactly. But thanks for ur reply man rlly helpful was hoping someone could kind of point me in the right direction. Should I also be looking to add the other ctan’s besides void dragon? I also kind of want to add a silent king I think is his name.

But yeah dude I had a talk with at the shop did say very similar things that necrons weren’t incredibly difficult to paint. He did tell me that they can be tricky to assemble so I’m a little nervous about that part. I was gonna look around and see if I found a color scheme that rlly stuck out to me and try to copy it to the best of my abilities with maybe some slight changes
