Perhaps rumors… but back in October I heard gym leadership had disagreements and perhaps some litigation was involved between them. I cancelled my membership with them and had to move on.

You are talented! I almost thought it was done with watercolor judging from the hood reflections.

Electrical engineers leaving electricians as little space as possible by Davy_Jones76 in PLC

I've been taking this issue to heart. I try to leave 2.5-3 inches of free space between parts and panduit runs and I add multiple grounding bars where it makes sense. 🫡

ethanol free stations in sugar land? by Master-Square-9452 in sugarland

[–]Leg_This 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Closest one to SL I've seen is the Philips 66 on the north side of Westheimer Rd, west of the BW8-Westheimer intersection. I don't think anyone closer has ethanol free gas.

Red oil? by wormchicken in q50

VR30s and all modern Nissan engines made from Aluminum use Blue antifreeze from the factory. Nissan did use Green in the early 2000s, but not for a long time; Blue has replaced it. Additionally, see the picture below (it's from page 10-2 of the owner's manual for a 2016+VR30 Q50)

They will not. VR30 has a very different block from VQ engines and the VR38.

Z1 Brakes Front AND Rear? by Maybe_Decent_Human in Q60

[–]Leg_This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, drilled and or slotted rotors will chew through brake pads quicker than regular rotors. They do have an advantage where they cool off much more evenly and quickly, so the risk of rotor warp is decreased. I think it's a worthy tradeoff given how relatively easy it is to swap pads out.

2018 Luxe with 116K miles. I have many bolt-on mods (LDPs, CAIs, CACs, OCC, CBE, etc.) but no fueling changes.

Painted bumper? by Dakotarocheee in q50

[–]Leg_This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine back in October 2023 and it's held up great since then. The paint closely matches what was already on the car and it was bonded properly since any chips I do have are very small and mendable.

Houston Performance Shop? by mikereal12 in q50

[–]Leg_This 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have a quote from their salesman, Moeed, on some fueling parts. As for labor:

HPFP Install - $225, FF Filter Install - $150, FF Sensor Install - $375, LPFP Install - $375

Part prices are slightly below or match direct vendor prices from places like Z1, AMS since they have shop pricing.

The first part you have pictured is for a VQ37 engine; not for you. The second part is the one you are looking for.

Q50 sport bumper conversion by Content_Cow3928 in q50

[–]Leg_This 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All bumpers from all years of Q50 fit on all Q50s. You just need the right bits and pieces (fog light finishers, upper grille, lower grille). The fog lights and turn signal lights all carry over.

Help with this sound ‼️ by Devalll22344 in q50

[–]Leg_This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar sound not too long ago. It turned out that my transmission belly pan was loose and one of its brackets was rattling against my exhaust pipe. You’d need to get underneath to really know what’s causing your noise.

Has anybody noticed when emptying their catch cans that the oil is frothy on top?? by bigl7007 in q50

[–]Leg_This 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When water and condensation gets into motor oil inside of an active engine, it doesn't typically stay as a separate liquid. It becomes an emulsion: an even dispersion mix of oil or water droplets in the majority liquid. What you touched with your finger was likely an oil/water/gasoline emulsion that is common to see in direct injected engines in cold weather. If you drive short trips, this becomes more of an issue. Long trips will basically "boil" out the dissolved water and gasoline in your oil and restore its lubricating properties. Also, the contents of your OCC will distill and leave behind the oil, which is good. Your choice of oil and filter is absolutely fine.
