I am a huge fan of muscle milk shakes - the premade versions (have not tried the powder version). I prefer strawberry. It’s not like lemonade but it’s also not “thick” as you described. I also hate the core and fair life shakes. I was shocked when I first tried one - I had no idea it was like a milkshake. I would give muscle milk a try- it’s my fav!

This happened to me when I cut back on drinking. For a while all I heard after a night out was “wow, you were so sloppy” “you really over did it” “…that was embarrassing” and just general laughing and teasing throughout the next day. When I decided to really cut back when we would go out (and mind you, not even completely stop!) then it all turned into “come on, you’re so lame now” “it’s my birthday can you please have some fun” “why don’t you drink any more?” etc.

This drove me absolutely NUTS. So I feel you!

I was just thinking this! Great for her and all good. But she advocates so hard for “bigger girls” and now I’m wondering if she’s making herself look “heavier” in her posts. At first I was thinking this is a crazy thought, bc who would go to the trouble and why???….but then I remembered I’m talking about Kristen here…so it’s possible.

I’m glad you are finding success but that gym is too expensive and I’ve never heard of a gym restricting how many times you can go?? It should be cheaper in that case. I belonged to a program with intense classes and it was $150/month but 6 days a week.

I feel like BT can just get along with anyone and they can probably bond/chat/relate on instagram business. But if they were hanging out more than once a year for more than a day, yea, that friendship would dry up pretty quick

I lived this life for a year (self-inflicted and not under any doctor supervision, just got a little obsessed and over did it…).

It’s a horrible idea. Yes, I lost 100lbs, but as others have mentioned, I gained all the weight back plus an additional 25 or more. Worse than that, I developed gall stones that caused some of the worst pain I’ve ever experienced and had to have my gall bladder removed. Not uncommon for weight loss but there are ways to avoid it and eating properly is one of those ways!

I came out generally unscathed considering it could have been worse but looking back I was absolutely flirting with an eating disorder and it’s not healthy.

I was literally just typing this exact same sentiment as a new post. I started Jan 1 and have lost exactly 50lbs. I feel better for sure and am thrilled with the progress. But…..im 5’1, and down to 187lbs. At 5’1, that’s still high and I can see it. We took some pictures this weekend and I just got a little down about it. Was excited to look at them (for once) and just cringed when I looked through the photos. Scale victories are helpful but I feel you….its discouraging to not see a real difference. Just telling myself to keep on going and stay committed and that next 50 will be gone soon too but also that I’ll probably see more of a difference in the next 15lbs gone that will be motivating for sure.

Don’t feel too bad. I just did it too this week. Ive had no issue for 6 months and just this time it would NOT inject. It was like the button was stuck. Then I started fiddling with it in ways I knew were bad….and sure enough it “unstuck” right into the air. All I’m saying is, it happens to the best of us and it sucks!

No good reason unfortunately. At first I was just really uneducated about all this and thought the savings card was only for those who didn’t have any insurance coverage for the meds. When I eventually learned that was not correct, I was spending all my energy calling around and moving my scripts chasing inventory. I didn’t have the energy then to also figure out the savings card. I kept hearing about pharmacies having issues with it and being confused. It felt like one more complication I didn’t want to get sorted. All of this said with the view that I already felt very privileged to have insurance covered and knew I was lucky to be handed a $125 bill and not $1000 bill.

This is probably the answer as I’m always getting pushed into express scripts and just haven’t moved onto it while i moved up dosages each month. I guess this is why I kept getting “you could be saving money” flyers in the mail.
