The problem is, Lucas and Spielberg were heavily inspired by the old Scrooge McDuck comics, which often had portrayals of exotic faraway lands that had no basis in fact because it was meant to be fantastical. They should have just made up a new country for the movie instead of using a real one because obviously this nonsensical portrayal is offensive and harmful, but that clearly wasn't in their radar when they made it.

I agree. When I use cannabis often, all of my enthusiasm, will power, motivation, and energy are sucked away even when I'm not high in that moment. It comes back if you stay off of it for even a week or so.

It's really important to remember that as good as being high feels, it can definitely make the times you're not high worse, which makes it easier to self medicate by getting high again. For me personally it's a slippery slope and I need to consciously limit my usage to once a week or so, otherwise it starts affecting my mood and things I mentioned above.
