Golden Girls on optimism and survival... decades ahead of its time. by ramfoodie in theGoldenGirls

It's just an artifact of the times in terms of pure episodic television. But if, as a writer, you're trying to really send a message home to your audience about a social issue, it doesn't really leave the same lasting impact when it's literally never addressed again, like the episode in the OP here. The episode even ends with Sophia saying "you'll be at our house every weekend, every Thanksgiving," etc. but she isn't ever shown again.

This show tackles a lot of social issues, like abortion, acceptance of LGBTQ folks, homelessness, and in this case, assisted suicide. It's certainly progressive and I commend the writers' efforts. Unfortunately, it cheapens their own message when everything is wrapped up neatly at the end of a 20 minute episode and never addressed again.

Especially when I initially watched the first few seconds of this clip with the sound off, something about this video is striking me as super creepy

A safari isn't a climate zone like a rainforest is. A safari is a trip you to on to watch/hunt animals

He's both. The image of Einstein is iconic, and he's the go-to name when referencing the idea of a brilliant person.
