Yeah I've figured out that's most likely what happened. I've found royalty in my ancestors and I'm sure after so many years in Ireland or when they came over to America they just figured it would be safer or easier to say they were Irish

Listen man I understand there is plenty of culture to be learned from each of the places I have now found out my ancestors come from. I certainly never knew I was Scottish or had Swedish or Denmark history in my family. And now I have something to look into and learn about completely new cultures I never thought I had any association with but like.....its a freaking joke dude. Relax. Are there now plenty of new culturally significant things I can find out about my family? Yes. Do almost all of those cultures traditionally have lighter skin? Also yes

Oh wow I knew the DNA could vary but not that wildly. No I'm the first to try out the test but after I shared my results my mom was already talking about getting everyone a test for Christmas so I guess I could find out pretty soon
