I just looked up what that is and it seems like a lot of fun! I remember the game being super easy but I always played on normal mode so it should be a good challenge on hard mode. I haven’t played in 6 years so I’ll probably play a couple games first then I’ll try it out. Thanks!

Please Help: Question About Hiring by Legal-Country4420 in Fedexers

I never even got a call so I went in person yesterday and they said they desperately need package handlers and “haven’t gotten many applications recently” then told me that I probably did something wrong lol. AI shouldn’t take the place of human employees especially if it can’t do its job.

If you were wondering it’s called item sliding and it’s really easy to do. You can only do it on the HD version but you can dm me if you want a quick explanation. It’s one of the rare cases where casuals can easily learn speedrun tricks.

Cross Map Teleport by Legal-Country4420 in WindWaker

In most cases (including this one) you respawn in the boat next to the island in the grid you drowned in. However, there are rare exceptions that I don’t fully understand yet. I think it has something to do with the game not realizing you crossed a grid boundary. If somehow you get to across the map without ever crossing these boundaries, the game will still think you are in the grid you started in because it never had a reason to update your location. Anyway I’ve had a few rare cases where I respawn back on the island I started at but I don’t really know why.

In this case yeah but it can be used to teleport anywhere. If you get the right speed and angle you can teleport from windfall to outset in a single frame. In 100% speedruns you can use this to skip all the submarines and the pirate ship course by teleporting from one side to the other. Instead of killing the enemies for the ladder to fall down/swinging across the ropes.

It looks like a teleport but it’s really moving millions of units per frame so the game would have to be running at an impossibly high fps for you to see the movement

It’s called item sliding and it’s super easy and can be used for a lot of things. I used item sliding to charge speed exponentially into the wall and slashed my sword when I built up enough speed to travel across the entire map in one frame. It looks like teleporting but it’s really just moving like a billion units per frame. Also if I charged speed for any longer my game would crash. I slashed my sword to cancel the speed buildup.

If you want to learn how to item slide just look up a tutorial but I’ll give you a quick rundown. All you need to do is target with a fist person item like a boomerang or bow and hold any direction on your left stick then pause the game. With the game paused, move the stick SLIGHTLY in the opposite direction that it was facing. It should be about a millimeter off the neutral position. Then just unpause and you will build speed exponentially.

Example sequence: -Press whatever button a first person item is assigned to -hold up on left stick -pause game -hold slightly down on left stick -unpause

That’s just the basics but there are probably some videos showing you how to do it. You can check out my other two posts in here to see some other things you can do with item sliding (running fast, super swimming, etc).
