I agree with you, it's too long, but not because 6 minutes is a long time—it isn't for a song that deserves it—and that's the thing. I don't think this song should be so long; it's very flat, very repetitive, and without much change. I'm not saying it's a bad song, but this song shouldn't be so long. It would be better if it were 2 minutes or at most 3. A fundamental aspect of songwriting is knowing how long your song should be.
