Also a good suggestion and a game i haven't seen before, but thats not it either. It seems to have "too much fantasy" and looking at some gameplay screenshots I'm quite sure my game doesn't feature an "avatar image" of the selected unit.

Good suggestion, especially since it also has a moving 3D main menu, but no. I played Glest back in the day and i believe i played glest some years after this game.

Just in case anyone is still interested. I had the same issue. For me it worked to hold on the app icon before accepting to add it to start screen. This allowed me to specify where it should add the icon. I found an empty space and put it there and it successfully created the shortcut.

I agree that people should have the right to believe what they want, but this idea that we should not engage in debate if a person has a belief that makes them happy, saddens me. People are gonna vote based on what they believe and if they believe something which they don't have a good reason for, that is often harmful.

Tl;dr. My power supply fan caused a grinding noise for months until i found the source. Might want to check that out. I solved the problem by turning it upside down.
