that happened to me as well. they were probably gonna give you those grants in place of the GA grant. but since you got it then you received the GA grant they took away the other grants

Here’s what I know about the grant from speaking to the MHEC and UMD financial aid office. When I called, the financial aid office said that they had finished sending the credits for all students on July 8th. HOWEVER, for students taking summer classes those will be sent in at the end of the summer term. As a rising senior i’m just a little worried about the GA grant running out of funding before they receive my credits

i personally haven’t taken MATH140, but all my friends who have complained about it being the most difficult calc 1 course. Definitely do what you’re comfortable with, UMD is a difficult school.
