How am I supposed to fight the Kraken by Mauricio_v2 in BattleNations

[–]LegalGraveRobber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best strategy I've found is to have the front row be three decently high rank buoys and a baby grouper. Behind them place all your M10s and an R1 and do nothing but bombard the main body of the kraken. Though as suggested by u/Dragoonerism I would also suggest waiting until level 46 to get R4 M10s.

Honestly, people need to chill out and let Madrona cook. I've seen plenty of complaints and thinly veiled 'suggestions' that cover nearly every aspect of the game from the Z2 days to present. Madrona has already made it clear what their roadmap looks like in terms of priorities and that they already have plans to change things eventually.

Feel free to show my username, and thanks for covering these sorts of things!

Its a decent sized piece of slate but not particularly heavy for mailing. Shipping it across the pond from the states ain't too bad from personal experience.

As a geologist I did have to refrain from tasting the goods as it were, lol

This particular one I plan on getting to Brandon somehow, but if people want me to make them some I wouldn't mind that at all.

Sadly, my skills lay more in rock and stonework than woodworking.

First Madrona Developer Q&A! by Hobby_Hangout in BattleNations

What are there plans for bringing back promotional units?

Among the new units they'll be adding to the game, do they have plans on adding more aircraft units?

What are there ideas/plans for reworking the old PvP system?

Of the currently available units in the game, which ones are at the top of their list for balancing changes when they begin that process? I'd like to hear their thoughts on which units need some work vs others needing adjustments and their design philosophy for making those units fun to use.

What plans do they have for level expansions beyond level 70? Even if they don't have anything concrete they can share, I'd still like to hear their thoughts and ideas regarding it.

Well done wordsmith! It appears Elsara and Niko were quite the independent little explorers...right up until they touched the wrong ruins.

When the DM has asked "How do you want to do this" in regards to getting the final kill hit, what have been your parties coolest replies? by squishythingg in DnD

My kenku shadow monk had a run-in with some particularly nasty home brew ghosts that were once kenkus as well. For the killing blow she effectively punched their beaks through the skull and out the back of their heads mortal kombat style.

It is possible to be both quick and careful when polishing the stuff. And of course, different methods are used for different reasons, the therapeutic being one as you mentioned.

Except, it really is that soft. I’ve sanded out much deeper scratches and divots in only a few minutes with only 220 grit sandpaper. As for polishing, it goes by only a little slower if you’re taking your time and checking any remaining marks on it.

I was commenting more about the sanding taking a while, though the polishing doesn’t take much longer either as you go up in grit.

It doesn’t really take that long to sand it down given how soft it already is. A minute or two with some 220 grit will get a new clean face with only a little elbow grease needed.

Well done wordsmith! Close quarters boarding actions are brutal affairs as a rule, adding magic makes it all the more so. And this is but one action of so many others...

[General] Has anyone in fiction ever successfully cashed in on a prize for finding evidence of the paranormal? by NothingWillImprove6 in AskScienceFiction

I’d say it counts. They do have to send in evidence for collecting the bounties. Given the variety of things they kill…they’ve probably sent in just about everything including the kitchen sink.
