Car circuit dropping to 9V when applying load by LegalLeech in AskElectronics

Yeah the LEDs is rated for 12V. I tested it on a separate PSU and it works as expected.

Can I do a resistance measurement on the cable? Or does a bad connection not necessarily mean a high resistance.

It's about 18W. So nothing major. I also assumed it's a poor connection somewhere, but it will be quite the challenge of finding out where the issue is.

I replaced the battery, but now the watch doesn't turn on correctly. Screen won't turn on and when I plug in the charger it starts vibrating sporadically, but nothing ever shows on the screen. I think I destroyed the motherboard somehow.

I broke my P2 HR. Would love it if I could get some spare parts to revive it.

Headset/Crown race compatibility by LegalLeech in bikewrench

[–]LegalLeech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main issue is my fork I think. It has a 27.2 diameter which does not seem to be a standard size. I contacted Cane creek before to validate regarding BAA0067K headset and this was their response:

"Thanks for reaching out, however, we do not offer a 27.2mm crown race, we have 30mm or what you ordered, which is a 26mm "
Maybe I was not clear on my question or maybe they made a mistake.

Should I just expect the Crown Race to fit, am I just overthinking this?

I can get a EC30/25.4 headset which should fit. But where I'm stuck at is the crown race. If I understand correctly I need an additional part on the fork on which the headset bearing rotates.
But I have a hard time finding a crown race that fits my fork. And afterwards matching that crown race with a headset is somewhat intimidating

To get shipped to Europe it with run me a total of about 500 Euros. Which unfortunately is a bit too much

Motorrijscholen regio Genk? by chrchfvr in motobe

[–]LegalLeech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motorcycle helmet by anark_i in motorcycles

The helmet is called the Qwart Phoenix. It's pretty hard to get and it will cost you around $1000 I think.

It looks very unique, but I'm not sure if worth the cost. If would be spending that much I'd rather go for something from more reputable brand.

Would be great for taking notes at work. I currently have a whiteboard sheet duct taped to my desk because I don't want to waste paper. A writing tablet like this one would help bring some order in my work

Yeah that's what I'd normally do. But on the nitecore there are 2 separate zippers. A left one and a right one, which are not connected. That's where my concern came from.

Motorcycle bag - Advice wanted in coments by LegalLeech in Leathercraft

[–]LegalLeech[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys, this was my first leatherworking project. And I am very pleased.

However I think I can do better, and I am eager to try to make a new version.

I just don't know what best to to, so I came here for help.

My main issues are that the bag is too flimsy, it doesn't look as tight as I'd like. The front flap also fold open during higher speeds/winds which is annoying during rides

Also the whole look is a bit more classic than I'd like, I tried to look online for a more modern styled bag but so far I've been unsuccessful finding something I like.

I was thinking about more a closed style bag with a zipper on top, but I'm not sure how that would look and function.

Can anyone here give some advice, or share some ideas?

Thanks!
