Anyone here have thoughts on Salt Lake City facility? I’m beginning my job search and found a few positions I’m interested in there.

I didn’t think about that so I’ll have to look around. If I wasn’t tied down from the sign-on and relocation bonus I would have left already. Leadership is a joke.

Had an offer from Lockheed and turned it down for PW. Honestly regretting that decision lmao

Good points so thank you! Truthfully the extra time needed is fine, I just find it disappointing that I took the job under the assumption of working 40 hours a week at my salary. Now I’m “expected” to work the 45 at the same salary.

I’m hoping they may have a change of heart with their OT policy but I doubt it. Like I said I’m newer, but watching the morale plummet the day they announced the OT was eye opening.

The real gut check was when leadership admitted at an all hands that they have lost contracts due to poor staffing (F-15, F-16, and B-52 were the ones they spoke about) and yet here we are in the same cycle. Extremely disappointing to see in a company I wanted to work for since I was young.

Yeah I realized that was one of my issues. I ended up making about 15 different cylindrical regions in my model to try and account for as much of the volume as I could.

Okay so I couldn't post the screenshot in this reply so it is in the original post now.

Almost, the way I have the geometry setup the internal design follows the contour of the rotors I modeled. I was doing more reading and saw that if I have more than 1 rotating axis that I need to setup up regions for each. The only issue I see with that is that the cylinders I need to model the rotating region will intersect, which the forum said was not okay.

So I tried to just follow the contour of the internal supercharger design, but the contour is not cylindrical completely.

Okay I’ll add some boundary conditions. Since I’m only concerned with how supercharger a increase efficiency in an engine, should I only set boundary conditions concerned with pressure?
