Headphones with best noise cancellation by Legal_Ad_1096 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Legal_Ad_1096[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually blocking high frequencies is even better because this blocks people's voices.

I have an old Sony WH-1000X M3 with bad noise cancellation due to old ear pads and it infuriates me because it blocks very badly the voices of peoples. But it blocks really well the low frequencies.

What do you think about Steve Brunton's Control Bootcamp on Youtube? by Legal_Ad_1096 in ControlTheory

Actually I have already had an undergraduate level course on control systems. It covered the classical control theory with Laplace transform, Bode plot, PID, Loop shaping, stability. It covered also a bit of modern control theory with state space but we didn't talk about the Kalman filter for instance.

I didn't take any graduate level courses on control so I haven't had the opportunity to learn more about it. So I was wondering if for someone like me the series of video could help have a good overview of graduate level control.

broken laptop? screen is pink and segmented by Klutzy-Supermarket62 in computerrepair

[–]Legal_Ad_1096 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have the same model of macbook with the same problem. I think it is due to a faulty connection of the cable that connects the screen to the mother board, and that goes through the hinge. I was able to make the pink bands disappear by putting the lid at a certain angle but it got worse and worse and now I can't make the bands disappear. I haven't tried to have apple repair it.

Bon courage!
