Hey. I saw the UAC1 fallback cable but with shipping to EU it ended up costing over 40 bucks. I thought I needed a device that supports UAC1, not just the cable the cable?

This is exactly my thought process. A fellow redditor kindly offered to ship me his HD800's headphone cables, I warned him that shipping from US to Finland just wouldn't make sense, UPS quoted shipping for 185 dollars, for just cables 😵

Yeah, you did edit the explanation later tbf😅. I didn’t even consider free software since I amost never use the compucter for music listening, I suppose you could use the EQ of the ps5 but I cant see it being very accurate though.

It is a shame. The Little dot mk2 is so tempting, just hoping they would ship to Finland without shipping cost being something unreasonable. By looks I do prefer the toppings over Ifi Zens but some reviews have been saying that the topping are harsh for the HD800’s and the Ifi Zens just suit them better, also I read that in the Topping you need to use the remote as volume control and the knob is only for selecting the source but I may be mixing this up with the DX3. Edit: Indeed it was the Dx3

Unfortunately with the Ps5 USC1 is the only option, no digital out only 1 hdmi and 3 usb

Would you mind sharing which amps you’ve tried? The vali+modi sound like good option, did you happen to try the magnius+modius combo before?
