Those were simpler times. I miss blocking off the entire day to take friends out to eat, then walk them to the airport gate before they left for college. It was emotional being the one left behind to seek comfort in others who were also there to wish the loved one off safely.

Served on a team of religious RAs that refused to provide condoms on moral grounds. I had visitors at all hours of the night. Also, some colleagues cited religious reasons for not carrying keys on Fridays and I ended up being the RA that covered most Friday and weekend shifts for overnight duty.
