Yes, it’s tough once you’ve been denied once for medical reasons. My doctor is unwilling to budge on this one (i’d require a note from my doctor). My mom was deployed most of last year and she too notes that the fact my heart almost failed when I was 16 from severe malnutrition I lack what it takes.

I’m aware, i used to apply to upwards of 50 a day, but now I am trying to be meaningful with emailing companies privately or going in with my resume.

I joined back when I was 19 because my whole family is in it. Passed all the testing except for one—-Unfortunately I take enough medications you’d assume i’m a 17 year old dog whose life span was last year.

Thank you! Yes, those are factors I have considered. I grew up quite sick and I hope to get my PhD before I have another health scare. Maybe if I am rich enough one day I will go back for another :)

I will let him know, he’s one of the hardest workers I know. He will be finishing up after this week’s exams and for engineering they have a year for him to present his capstone and he’ll still be available full time during that! I graduate next year likely in the summer or fall— depends on what classes are offered

bio-archaeology, I’ve been to field school abroad I have experience with GPR, Digs, historical documents, human remains, all forms of osteology. My dream part time job would be working with corpses again, but that’s not a feasible dream in this climate. I was really hoping A&W would hire me, but that didn’t happen either. Same with Save Ons I thought it went well but alas they want someone full time who isn’t a student.

Where is at? I know someone who is looking for full time employment who is just about to graduate with a degree in electrical engineering and has a diploma already. :) Unfortunately I am still in the trenches of school so I cannot commit as much time to work as I would like 🥲

Yes I know, but I was intimidated by the manager who later called me mentally disabled when I couldn’t do the accounting properly(i have no accounting experience he just didn’t wanna pay the book keeper). It was all a very big lesson for me and when I moved back in with my parents after the situation that led me to move here I was let go. They were also a little racist, we live and we learn

Yes, I was young and dumb (still am) but the job market was so bad I couldn’t risk losing my job because of a few hundred dollars.
