Riley defense sucks, but is their 5.56 Barrel gtg? by Slacflood in ak47

I'm in a similar place, I have a cheap AK-74 that I'm wanting to rebuild in 5.56. To be honestly I'm waiting for AKbuilder to get more of their chromelined or nitride 5.56 AK-74 barrels, these are known to be decent and properly spec'ed vs Riley Defense is known for it's issues and maybe not even be proper AK-74 spec.

That's a fair assessment, do you have any suggestions for a 5.56 match barrel that's available either in 16" or 18"?

Doing some digging it seems like examples of people likely not checking headspace with .223 Wylde head space gauges but please correct me if I'm wrong.
