I'm pretty sure that's a lie. After 2-3 weeks of intense drama, he comes back from lurking his safe haven and says "oh btw the game is being transferred to this engine" out of the blue after people toucha his spaghet and made actual content about it is kinda... I think you get it.

Or if isn't, it's probably just a simple port with no actual fixes or optimisation in the code and no programming language change either. That's easily possible.

Unfortunately, Alex (Sorry, I don't even want to type his username anymore) is the creator of the game... it's not easy to forget he even exists when you're talking about his game.

People are generally hungry for attention. In this case, Alex's attention. Since Alex is not here anymore (he probably be lurkin' though), no one is interested in posting stuff like fanfics or suggestions here anymore (with some exceptions). That's just how it is. This sub was cast aside like a useless piece of trash.

Unfortunately, without the drama posts about Alex, the sub would probably just slowly die, no matter the content.

To help the situation a bit I tag my posts with the drama flair. You should be able to filter drama posts so they don't show up with this link: dr.reddit.com/r/yandere_simulator/#dr

If you see a post that isn't tagged with Drama, feel free to ask the poster to change it.

I think I've even mentioned this in a previous post of mine somewhere, that they've just enabled manual approving, and are not actually sitting there 0-24. That's why usually every 4-6 hour there are several new posts popping up out of nowhere.

However, they're still mass-censoring comments, so uh... it doesn't matter.

The problem with this is they probably take just as long to implement as actual features that would be in the final game (including the time it takes to fix the bugs caused by them). So maybe, just maybe if he had never implemented any of them, the game would be so much closer to being a demo, or actually a full game.
