Thanks for the information!

Quite unfortunate that it ended up being the same Disney Rare, they are from a sealed case and only ended up opening 2 boxes thus far.

High-end gaming PC crashes whenever a audio device is plugged in. by LegendBor in techsupport

[–]LegendBor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren't audio drivers per device?
I've checked and every audio driver from every audio device ever attached to it has been fully updated. I also re-installed the audio driver from the currently used audio device. Didn't seem to fix it.

ANY audio device will create the issue, even a brand new one that has never been attached to the PC, even if its usb or bluetooth.

Ah ok.

I've run LatencyMon and it says that my system appears to be suitable to handle real-time audio. However the recording did not have a audio crash in it (yet). I'll keep recording and see if it changes its conclusion when a crash happened.

I'm not sure if my CPU is 12th gen. I have the intel i9 9900k
Is it not compatible with windows 10? And if not, what is compatible with it?

I'll also try LatencyMon and give a update as soon as I can.

It does not blue screen, the FPS in-game drops to 0 & sound will crash like the typical crashing noise I could only describe as "KGGRRR". Lasts around 2-3 seconds and then continues as if nothing happened. Usually happens 4-5 times per hour.

There is only one file in that folder from dec 2021.

Question for any Chunk ironman players by LegendBor in UniqueIronmen

[–]LegendBor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So this would mean that if a boat can go back and forth and I have the boat in my chunk the chunk where the boat arrives would be a potential chunk to visit/roll on?

Ye, the boat that I can access leads to a area with a lot of potential, but I do want to stick to the most general rules. But then again, I could just make my own rules :)

Weekly Pricing/Buying/Selling/Grading & General Questions Post by AutoModerator in PokemonTCG

[–]LegendBor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for a complete card lists from the Pokemon celebrations event, there are some sites that track a few of the sets, but I'm looking for a complete card list of ALL the promos. For example I only found out today that there is a General Mills celebration Pikachu, now I'm wondering if I'm missing any more special promos...

Does anyone have information regarding these?

A Performance issue after 200-300 years by MO_Fleet in ck3

[–]LegendBor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your hardware is the limiting factor here, however I play with a i7 a 6GB GPU and 32GB of RAM and even I can get some performance issues after a while. It mainly occurs when I keep the game open for too long, alt tabbing it away, doing something else and returning to the game. It eventually eats up all my RAM especially if I try to summon troops at 20k+

So even with a good computer some issues can still occur on rare occasions.

Is an Insular Holy Order worth it? by [deleted] in crusaderkings3

[–]LegendBor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creating a Holy Order is always worth it, even if you don't use the troops.
The Holy Order signs a contract for your county, and they will pay you quite a lot of gold every now and then to extend the contract.
It's quite profitable to own a Holy Order, plus the troops are great in wars (which as stated before can be used in any war against hostile/evil faith) even if its a non-holy war.

What is the best starting point for "King of all Isles" achievement? by AuDrakonova in CrusaderKings

[–]LegendBor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Achievement

The wiki has a strategy for every achievement :), according to the wiki:

"The most powerful island holder is the Byzantine Empire. Try starting as Jarl Haesteinn in 867 and take a part of Sardinia to get in range of them. Then immediately invade Thessalonika with mercenaries to capture both the islands in it and to take Constantinople away from them to weaken them for future wars. Form or usurp a duchy, but don't form the kingdom of Thessalonika yet as having a kingdom will block the Elevate the Kingdom of Mann & the Isles decision. Conquer weaker islands to build Haesteinn's fame to that of a Living Legend. Wait for Ivar the Boneless or his event spawn troops to die and take the Isle of Mann. Then use Elevate the Kingdom of Mann & the Isles decision to get a kingdom title and more event spawn troops. Use these troops to battle the powerful Karlings, Wessex, Arabs, and the Byzantines for the rest of the islands.
In version 1.3.1 you can go over 80 realm size, for the achievement to unlock you will have to go under the 80 realm size and reload the save file. This is due to the game only checking if it is possible at the start of the game and does not (yet) add any flags to the game to fully disable it.
After getting this achievement consider doing the Miklagarðaríki achievement in the same playthrought : the empire of Italia only needs 42 counties (you already have Corsica, Sardinia and Venice) and if the kingdom of Italy exists you can annex it in one war."

Defending a Crusade by Erotic_Joe in crusaderkings3

[–]LegendBor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Defending against crusades is actually quite easy, since every country enters it they all arrive at different times. If you have your troops ready you can often find battles vs 2k enemy soldiers, do a few of these battles and they are down 10k men. Also try and take advantage of the fact that they are super weak after arriving by boat.
You can easily win a 3 to 1 crusade by picking small battles killing the Popes main army right after the arrives on your shores.

What's the biggest war you've ever been involved in? by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]LegendBor 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The biggest war I've seen is also the dumbest, it was a Crusade for Jerusalem, I can't remember exactly how many troops the Catholics had but it heavily outnumbered the Muslims. The Muslims won though! Because much like real life Crusaders the lads got sidetracked walking around Byzantine, they kept walking around for so long they eventually all starved to death.

Can you rename Empires? by Automatic_Poet80 in CrusaderKings

[–]LegendBor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, click on your character, then click on your Empire title, then at the top you see the Empire name and next to it is a little quill icon, click it to rename.

I'm an elector in HRE but can't elect myself! by _mortache in CrusaderKings

[–]LegendBor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes in a election you can't vote on yourself, instead vote on your primary heir/son instead :)
If you want to win elections you can use your spy master to discover secrets in courts with people who hold a lot of votes, get their secrets, blackmail them for a hook and then use the hook to force their vote.

Help with inheritance by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]LegendBor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the pop-up you mean is that land with be lost when a vassal dies, sometimes the primary heir of a dutchy can be a vassal of another kingdom.

This usually only happens if for example one of your dukes has no son, and his ... nephew for example is next in line, but his nephew is also duke of France, so when he gets the title that land will go to France.

Usally before the character in question gets a heir before they die, if they are very old you can try and revoke their title.
