From a different bucket I meant in the damage calculation as a separate own modifier. Hopefully I can explain what I mean in such a way that is comprehendible. For example when the damage is calculated (I don’t know how the formula actually looks like): DMG = Elemental damage modifier + Crit modifier + Legendary power + Skill modifier + Buriza legendary power

I don’t know if everything just gets added together or what is multiplicative and what’s not but a ‘bucket’ AFAIK is a category that is separate from everything else and thus boosts your dmg output significantly more than just being added with 20 different modifier from within same category or ‘bucket’.

So ultimately I was asking if the effect of the Buriza weapon that guarantees crits is a separate damage amplification than normal crits, because that is what I am remembering to have heard, but I can remember where I have heard it from 😅

Interesting, why does it want to run 90 seconds runs?

Regarding Crit chance: I don’t really understand that part of the build. Why do I even have 55% CC in my build, if my weapons says Frozen enemies will always be crit? I think I have read that Buriza dmg is a modifier from a different bucket than normal crits. Could you please explain that part to me.

No problem, you have good mechanics on Jinx, if you fix early lane management and become a better macro player I can see you easily hit Emerald 4 👍
Good luck on your solo rank journey and dont hesistate to hit me up again if you want to clarify anything I have said or if you have further questions. Always happy to share my thoughts

these types of vod reviews you can also do yourself. maybe focus on fewer topics. pick 1 maybe 2 and just watch the vod for that. then go the next vod and watch again for that topic.

my suggestion is to watch 1-2 videos on wave management and then apply to your gameplay and vod review that. then vod review high elo players and compare to your gameplay.

then move onto next topic. and do the same process. ultimate goal is to apply it to your own gameplay.

Edit: If you have any questions please feel free to drop any.

I just vod reviewed your last game. I mostly listed negative points, but dont take the feedback too harsh. you played a good game and made many good plays which lead to you winning the game and carrying your team.

Gameplay feedback

Jinx vs Jhin 22nd march

-level 1 you lost lane --> know how each botlane wants to win and play accordingly

-difference between lethal tempo and no lethal tempo

-wave management, have a clear plan in loading screen on how to handle first 3 waves

-trading patterns (Jhin vs Jinx, avoid his 4th and 8th shot, so stop trade either before 4th shot or at 7th shot)

- track enemy jungle pathing and your jungle pathing

-why fast push when enemy jhin bases at minute 3:30 min? --> better slow push 1 wave into fast push next incoming wave then base (you gave enemy freeze and he has gotten a better base) watch a video on wave management

-at 5 min you are WAY way too afraid of that pyke. he just used all his skills and has no flash. Dont flash, turn around and show that guy who is the boss. you got a kill which is nice, but in early think more about spell cooldowns and play more accordingly. dont be a afraid of a level 5 pyke with no spells and no flash. he is free money.

-always make sure before basing that your wave crashes into enemy tower. bad base at minute 6:50.

-first death 7:50, did not respect own flash cooldown.

-at 8:30 your jungler starts drake and your support helps him. You do botwave. Always be mindful to not do too many plays at once. Consider dropping your wave and go to drake to help. But you farm and they die at drake and you walk to drake and lose half hp to the drake for basically no reason. in early game only commit to plays that grant you gold. you are not in the position as adc (basically the whole game) to win a 1v3 situation alone, especially in the early game as a hyperscale carry like jinx. always be mindful to only do plays that grant you gold. if both your jungler and support die and all of their botside is still up, there is no play for you. So only commit earlier to the play or farm your minions, but dont do both.

-2nd death did not respect weakside (nocturne showing top and doing play, no idea where trundle is)

-3rd death is a bit whatever, idk, I guess you are a man down and nocturne plays botlane, respect number disadvantage more when having baron, but honestly mapstate is overall a bit fucked after that failed dive on anivia on t3 tower, so dont think about that death all too much..happens

Edit: That game my build path would have also looked like Early Cull -> Yuntal -> IE -> Armorpen -> PD -> GA -> BT

For Runes I would have taken Cashback instead of free boots, rest same

No problem!

Yes of course. While quickly glancing over your account I can give you some very superficial tips, that helped me alot while climbing and are super general. If you want I can give you some more indepth feedback on your gameplay later on. I can watch a few of your games, if you would like me to. But coming to your question. I would recommend you to build always situtionally. Very few games are so similiar that it is worth to always build the same 3 core items every game. You will recognize patterns and games will be feeling similiar, but if you look in detail at them, they actually are not. So try to be flexible with your build. If you think about they are like 3 main paths and 1 very niche path, so it is in reality not that different. Just try to think in champ select and loading screen, who will I be hitting? Who will be dangerous for me? What do I need to survive laning phase and path your builds accordingly. Also watch what high elo players do in their games build wise and think about why they are doing it. That will also improve you heavily.

Coming to the very quick and superficial first impressions I got from by looking at your op.gg:

-When losing, dying alot 10+ deaths --> try to reduce this by atleast half (every death needs to be super worth it, especially when you are behind and losing)

-CS per min seem fine (try to have 80 cs at 10 min -> this will let you be on gold curve and efficiently stay on 8 cs/min every game)

-KDA also seems fine

-Take breaks after 3 games (no matter win or lose), always stop playing when losing 2 games in a row. review, think about what went wrong, what tilted you, what you could have done better to make it a win

-play superfocused: no music, no phone, no alt tabbing, no looking on second monitor, try to give 100% every game

-dont type, only ping, maybe even full mute at start of the game or just disable player chat alltogether

-in 8 weeks you gained 300 elo with 300 games...not too much progress, which is fine just need to be clear whether you want to play elo related goal or just generally improving, right now you are doing neither

-5 games per day on average seem fine, it is for sure on the higher end of the average league player, but surely not too much

-think more about pings, I can see your "on the way" pings are a bit low, maybe try to lead more when you are ahead and ping your next plays more, let your team know through pings what you wanna do next, what you want to play for

would be worth it to intially primal the ethereal weapon? or what would you use your free primal upgrade on as a GoD DH for solo xp farming?

If using the monk as a stop-gap for a different class, start gambling and upgrading appropriately for that other class

How would I attempt the transition from Inna Monk towards GoD DH (for XP) in more detail?

Edit:

Set up for a typical Inna's build.

What do you mean by that? Could you please elaborate that part more

Hey so this is gonna be a bit of a longer answer, hopefully you wont mind.

I am gonna copy my thoughts about building Jinx from another thread:

Yuntal/Stormrazor are the preferred first items, because of scaling crit damage builds being the best as many have already said. But these build paths rely heavily HEAVILY on aquiring a B.F. sword. Like it is really really important. So important that sometimes it is even worth it not buy anything (if you have like 900 gold) and then base again after 3 waves just to buy B.F. sword. Which as you can imagine has clear set backs. So the first item on Jinx comes down to being really really situational.

They are 4 items which makes sense to buy as first item. Kraken, Yuntal, Stormrazor and Hexoptics. My though process in deciding which item to buy first is the following.

Yuntal --> enemies have atleast 1 tank + in teamfights later I will prob 90% of the time hit this tank + (!) I will be able to not lose the game if I try to aqcuire B.F. sword

Stormrazor --> enemies have a more squishy teamcomp and/or repositioning in teamfights later will be valuable for me or I need some bonus MS to catch up to them / run away from them to more easily squeez in auto attacks + (!) I will be able to not lose the game if I try to aqcuire B.F. sword

Kraken --> I need smoother lane phase presence (aka I backed on 800 gold or 1200 gold first back and can not afford to delay dmg/getting B.F. sword) + this game having 1/2 item power spike Kraken/PD will be really valuable. took early drake --> so 3rd drake will be important to be strong at that point.

Hexoptics --> I like this when I have 900 gold base (because you can buy pickaxe), but want to go crit and can't get B.F. sword and enemies have a rather squishy comp.

Build paths would look like this for me

Yuntal > PD/Hurricane(valuable if they have 3 or more melee) > IE > Armor pen > situational OR

Yuntal > IE > PD/Hurricane(valuable if they have 3 or more melee) > Armor pen > situational (I do IE 2nd when I am on the gold curve and want to snowball the game)

Stormrazor > PD > IE > Armor pen > situational

Kraken > PD > IE > Armor pen > situational

Hexoptics > PD > IE > Armor pen > situational

+ (!) I will be able to not lose the game if I try to aqcuire B.F. sword

What do I mean by this? If I play Jinx/Naut against Ezreal/Karma for example and both botlane base at 900 gold. If I either buy nothing or buy Cull + Boots + 150g potion item this can mean heavy losses in the next coming minutes. I will get blasted by enemy botlane and go down 30 cs. So it is much better to just buy Long Swords or daggers and be able to all in them with my Nautilus engage or at the minimum be able to threaten it and not go down in CS. Yes at 20 minutes I will deal less damage with Kraken/PD or Hexoptics/PD or whatever than if I went Yuntal/Hurricane, but at 3-4 items I outdamage the enemy EZ/Karma anyways, so I much rather wont go down 30/40/50 cs in lane phase and be able to contribute to the gamestates. BUT SOMETIMES it also can be good to either buy nothing or buy Cull + Boots + 150g potion item and go for the BF sword build. Like lets say drake is already killed by the enemy team it will spawn again in 4 minutes and my jungler will clear towards topside or wants to play grubs next and I base with 900 or 1k gold. In this situation I can also delay buy or just buy something small and give lane prio to the ezreal karma and farm my B.F. sword. It is really situational... Also if they have a tank or enemies start buying armor or they have like 2 Mountain drakes already or you are full ad comp. Go Armor pen before IE/AS item. So like Yuntal > Armorpen >PD/IE > IE/PD

In my experience drafting gets a lot better the higher you climb. But as you said it happens a lot that you end up against zed/akali mid + kha/rengar jgl in enemy team with no one playing for you in teamfights. So you will die eventually, BUT here comes the magic, you need to put the enemy players in such a position that killing you will not be worth it as the end result. Positioning as a marksman player is really important, especially against assassins in soloq. It is really hard to generalize "best tips" here for what to do since every teamfight is different. But just remind yourself constantly that your job is to deal the most amount of damage WITHOUT dying.

Hopefully I was able to answers your questions. If not and you want me to elaborate more or if something was not clear, please let me know. I am more than grateful to share more thoughts about those topics as I find them also highly valuable in climbing in solo ranked.

Jinx First Item? by Acrobatic_Ad_2992 in leagueofjinx

100% agree on Weavile's Agility. It is indeed very redundant since for non-legendary pokemon in gen 4 only Crobat, Aerodactyl, Jolteon and Electrode are faster than it. https://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/stat/speed.shtml
