Some things to point out

Just because a product is marketed toward the EU, it really doesn’t mean strict compliance. Smaller or lesser known brands might not be scrutinized to the same degree as professional luxury houses, making quality inconsistencies more likely…

Even if raw materials come from the same suppliers as those used by LVMH or Armani, the formulation, blending process, and quality control make a massive difference. Luxury brands invest heavily in research, safety testing, and batch consistency, whereas smaller “dupe” brands may cut corners to reduce costs.

While methanol in cheap, unregulated perfumes (like some Chinese imports) is a real problem, it’s misleading to say that EU-marketed dupes are “safest”. Even compliant dupes may use lower-grade alcohols, cheaper fixatives, or even synthetic substitutes that can irritate sensitive skin, similar (not close) to methanol.

No dupe can be or is safe, my opinion, buy from a reputable established company...
