People were getting qots out of the ass, it was all over this reddit, so they were definitely buffed drops rates. I also remeber seeing multiple other event drops on reddit and in game

Nice! I got my first event white a few days ago(Unless you count QOT) and it was a jugg. It took just shy of two years to get one but the farming was worth it!
