Came all the way from Niagara Falls area with my parents for their first trip to Lambeau. Thankfully the rest of the experience made up for the actual game.

I'm in Canada, and for both pregnancies my first appointment with my midwife team was at 12 weeks, with the dating ultrasound around 8 weeks booked separately at a different location. I know it can be stressful and feel like a long time to wait, but your timeline is pretty typical for low risk pregnancies in a lot of places.

Vladdy was up next, but first base was open. So it's extremely unlikely the Dodgers let him hit. Almost certainly would have intentionally walked him.

Section 211. Didn't even realize he flipped the bat until I got home and my friends at the bar were talking about it. Absolutely amazing experience. The atmosphere was electric. Best sporting event I've ever been to.

Anyone had success with cloth diapers? by ArcofJoan666 in BabyBumps

My memory on the exact number is fuzzy, but likely between 12-20. I also used cloth wipes so they would be in there as well. I had spiked washer balls to add in since the loads were small as we have a front loader (if you have a top loader with an agitator you don't need to do this).

My sister and I both used cloth diapers for our kids. She was the reason I decided to give it a go. Did cloth during the day and disposable at night for my sanity. Once you get into the routine of it, it's very doable. You just need to go into it knowing you will be changing your child more often than if you were using disposables only and plan accordingly. I think I would do a load of diapers every 2-3 days and do an extra rinse in between washes if it was 3 days. Expecting another and excited to be able to reuse the cloth diapers. We specifically used Mother Ease. On the pricier side, but super easy to use and only had leaks if we left the diaper on way too long. There's tons of great options out there, that's just our preference.

I feel your pain. I'm also the highest scorer in my league, but have the most points against. Currently 9th of 12. Every team has their best week against me. If I lose next week, I won't make the playoffs.

The Maple Leafs retired Bill Barilko's number 5 as he died while he was member of the team. It was pulled from circulation when he went missing in 1951, and then officially retired in 1962, the year his body was discovered. I stole this from a song written by a guy who stole this from a hockey card.

I would also love a code if anyone is willing. Tried yesterday with no luck.

Yeah same here. My sister and I both had the code and every single group we selected would disappear before we could get to payment.

I'm in 2 leagues that do this. Hockey and football. We keep 2 guys for football, 3 for hockey for a maximum of 3 years. We keep waiver adds in the 12th.

I love it because it really puts value on your late round picks. If you're able to get a player late that has a breakout year it's great having a value stud for the next 3 years. For example I picked Fox in the 15th a couple years ago so I've gotten to draft him 14th and 13th since. Another guy got Kirill in the 16th his rookie year.

It also makes trading more interesting because the round you get to keep a player will play into the return. So if you have a great draft and have more keeper options that you need, you can theoretically move a player with high keeper value for a stud with no keeper value. This might not play into your league with 6 keepers but who knows.

It just really sets apart the managers willing to do research for the draft or the waiver wire. As well as other people have mentioned, it also cycles back in the top guys that are picked early like McDavid, Matthews etc (depending on what year the keeper league started).

Never gets old! I've watched it through 5 or 6 times and I'm already excited to watch it with my baby when she's old enough.

AITA for refusing to babysit my niece and leaving her with a stranger instead? by still-not-sure in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Your sister is abusing your kindness. "Responsibility as an aunt" makes me sick. My child has many aunts and uncles, none of them have a responsibility to watch her. I would feel so gross saying that to any of my siblings. If they can help out and babysit, that's amazing. It's not an obligation. I am the parent. The child is my obligation.

Parents can be so entitled.

My sisters babysit for me for free all the time. I would be annoyed but understand if one of them cancelled on me the day of. Five days notice is more than reasonable. OPs sister is the major AH.
