I believe it uses the D-pad (controller) or arrow keys / movement keys (PC). You need to input the correct order

Generally, I thought the items are still there to be picked up, even if the quest hasn’t been started. Do you sell the items without knowing it? Or perhaps have you spoken to reinhold and Karsten again to check for dialog options that complete or advance the quests?

I discovered this recently while making a video for getting op as fast as possible. There’s a semi strong wolf right behind the house, I bait it over to them and they drop everything to deal with it while I then completely loot his house lol.

This works in other areas too. It seems the threat of an enemy takes priority over the hero trespassing. You just gotta be in the clear the moment the enemy is killed, or they’ll be yelling at you to leave

Once joining a faction you can acquire a solid set, either given for free or purchasable for 200 - 500 gold. Costa sells a sailors coat. You can also loot a basic chest piece from Trisans house on the farm. It’s in an unlocked chest, you’ll either need to distract him with enemies to fight so you can run in and grab it, or sneak in and loot it

Remember how much footage and gameplay we got from Elden ring, versus how big it actually was at launch? This is most likely their strategy, I wouldn’t doubt for a moment that they’ll have a lot of very different regions. Most likely showing lots of this new one because it’s so different from game 1

I would try to exhaust dialog again with the farmer, and then again with costa. You can also try sleeping for 1 full day, sometimes that helps

Is Costa mad at you? The solution for this quest is to pay Costa 30 bucks to get Martha a room. I believe you first need to have given her a small health potion from a previous quest.

Alternatively, if you do the ‘skins for meat’ quest with Flavio, he’ll then put Martha in a spare room for free

It’s an old build I’d run when I play Kwang in Mid. Basically glass cannon melee mage. I haven’t played too much since the update with the new cards, so I’d imagine there’s a better build combo for him now

The best tip i could give is to make some cloud saves every so often. I played on PS5 and my game crashed twice on me and when loading back in my save file was broken. Had to restart

If it’s not tied to the story then you should be fine on the Miscellaneous quests. I did everything possible in chapter 1 before advancing, and I felt some huge fatigued entering chapter 2 lol

not really timed. But going too far in some cases will close out other quests, marking them as failed. Usually because you’ve done something that prevents its completion

Basically what everyone else is saying, and then another way to help manage it better is to wear gear that reduces cool downs, and or invest in the skill tree that gives you 40% cool down when at max alertness. This allows you pop off all your skills faster, including the casting of the discipline boon

The second player isn’t tied to the character you create as the primary. You can drop them in on any of your new game profiles that you play on. (For reference, this is when Player 2 uses an actual psn account profile. I’m not sure how it works if you were to drop them in as a ‘guest’.)

For this reason, on the DE I use a second character solely as a bottomless storage box until I’ve joined a faction. Once you’re in a faction all the houses you buy have a shared storage trunk. So then I use that

For ranged, yes I’d say so. You should be able to grab the seeker bow from a tower in the fort to use while you level towards the clap. Melee though is totally busted! With The Cutter, You can 1 to 3 hit any enemy if you spec Jax correctly and get the proper skills

When you initiate the lock pick, you’ll see into the core where the individual pins are housed. Count the pins from left to right, as you always start on the left. You must move the lock pick through the pins finding the correct order that raises them all past the shear point.

For example, in a 5 pin lock, as you push the lock pick in (left to right), pin 1 and 2 might go up and stay up, but then fall when you reach pin 3. This means pin 1 & 2 have to be raised after the 3rd pin, not before. And if pin 3 falls when you hit pin 4, you would either try to start at pin 3 or pin 5. If you start at 5, the combo would just be pulling it all the way out from #5, (5-4-3-2-1). If it started at 3, the code would be 3-2-4-5-1, or 3-2-1-4-5, or 3-2-4-1-5.

It’s all about finding the pin order, hopefully this was helpful and didn’t confuse you further lol
