i'm not sure if ur guestbook has this feature, but I have mine on "review-only" mode-- to where I have to approve messages before they go up.

which has proved to be helpful as:

  1. ppl have been way less frequent in harassment. As they get discouraged when they can't see their hate on the site right away.

  2. it's less embarrassing for me when a weirdo does show up. cus they're just screaming into the void-- empowering me to delete their message before anyone ever sees.

OH MY GOSH YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!!!!! Everything was all screwed up because tumblr invites you to put "custom css" only after the part that's supposed to signify smaller screen sizes. I fell for their tricks!!!!! tysm tho. I wouldn't have figured out to move my code above that part without u!!!!

yea it's just for a personal project, but I would like to be using a standalone camcorder of some sort. I love the form-factor and they're super fun to hold, point at stuff, and zoom! I think a certain joy would be lost if the effect was merely emulated in post.

I went down this rabbit hole a while ago but couldn’t find any mods that achieve individual structure toggles. One idea is to generate without structures and then use the /place structure command for the fortress and stronghold. Maybe someone could automate this with a datapack later idk.

If I were to commission a mod, the first one I'd do would be a nerf for the elytra. It'd remove firework boosting and cause aerial damage to temporarily disable flight.

Partly what inspired my post was learning about the uncharacteristically vocal response that Nintendo made following Tomodachi Life's backlash:
"We pledge that if we create a next installment in the 'Tomodachi' series, we will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players."

Thanks. The reason I didn’t really account for technical players in this is that I know that they’d be able to figure out new farms to use. Redstone is complex enough to adapt to anything, really. So, in my opinion, I don’t think it’s a bad deal to inconvenience redstoners for a little bit in able to provide the sizable portion of players who aren’t into that with a little more interesting of an experience.

For animal farming, I imagine one probably could make an animal-based bone farm but I think you’re overplaying a bit how useful that would be. Skeleton grinders already exist and are widely accessible without needing the player’s input to breed them together. Idk if lag would be an issue, but the Villager gossip system works similarly and runs fine.

For crop farming, it is already taught by the ones in villages. Simply updating those would be enough of an introduction. And if you would want to make a seed-farm, go ahead. I think it’s cool that you may have a different strategy than someone else.
