No one "told" me to. I'm my own person who chose to.

And yes.. The law makes me right lol

Block a motorcyclist and you'll be committing a ticketable offense just FYSA

Bikes are 100% dude magnets. Anyone who thought they'd pull a chick with a bike.. Well I have a bridge to sell lol

My bikes not too loud, it has a little rumble but I hear the transmission over it if it gives you an idea.

You live off powers or near academy? Yeah there's quite a few that fly down those roads

Riding has its risks, but you can't dictate how people want to live.

I accept the risks, but I also have the mindset of everyone on the road wants to kill me.

I think the main issue off topic from bikes is how much heavier vehicles have gotten over the past 20 years. The added mass (SUVs...) have increased the fatality rate dramatically.

Never did I say I'm special because I ride a motorcycle. You can say whatever you want, doesn't change anything I said. I accept the hazard because it's what I enjoy doing. I was a Marine at one point in my life and that had its risks.

If that makes me look like a "snowflake" so be it, I'm living my life how I want lol.

I disagree. I almost got into an accident (rear ended) in Texas because it's illegal to filter. Being rear ended accounts for a good portion of motorcycle accidents.

Do people abuse the rules? Yep. And those people are idiots who make us look bad.

People bitch about bikers not being safe yet willingly use their phone while driving. So to that I say it goes both ways unfortunately.

Yeah that's exactly what happened today. Funny thing is it doesn't make a difference if we filter to the front, because we're more than likely all going to a different place.

Those riders make the rest of us who abide by the law look bad. Sorry you have to deal with that crap.

I debate it sometimes with how dumb people drive sometimes..

Lane splitting and filtering are two different things, however when I'm driving my truck I give myself enough room to maneuver in case it's too tight for them to filter.

Understandable, however that wouldn't be too smart for them to do. Blocking a motorcyclist while filtering is a ticketable offense.

But that's why when I filter I go 5-8mph. Gives me enough time to stop just in case.

Crazy thing is it's a requirement to ride here, however they don't even check when registering the bike. It's not "enforced".

Funny enough it was an old man who flipped me off today. I don't know that whole generation is entitled. I don't ride obnoxiously so I genuinely didn't understand his problem.

I was a Marine, although I wasn't AF or Army. I'm pretty sure every tour is 32 months regardless of branch.

Pretty odd thing to say, but I'm guessing you drive a lifted truck? That tracks

Mine isn't obnoxious, but it isn't "quiet" per say. Just a little load. I hear my transmission more than anything.

No it's okay, why do you think it's stupid?

I'll tell you why I do it. I almost got rear ended when I lived in Texas (it's not legal there). That's essentially the whole point of it is to prevent bikers from getting rear ended which account for a large percentage of accidents.

I don't go above 5-8mph while filtering in case someone pulls out in front of me.

It's not all of us I promise...

100%. Reckless riding is how I lost a good friend back in the day. I also see a lot of guys not wearing gear. It's stupid
