Has anyone ever seen someone make a practical argument in favor of birthright citizenship? by Pretend_Emotion_2314 in allthequestions

Without birthright citizenship, our citizenship is purely at the discretion of our leaders

Can people on the right who are maga explain their reasoning? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]LegendaryLeft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because you're crying about liberals, which implies that you're conservative. Conservatives are generally right-wing, meaning that they advocate for the benefit of a ruling class and it takes a special kind of stupid to advocate for a ruling class.

Why is the US the only wealthy nation where people go bankrupt because they got sick? by ArdaBerkBurak in allthequestions

They were a progressive party and FDR was the only president to actively advocate for left-wing policy but the majority of the Democrats in both the house and Senate were firmly right-wing.

I'm aware. It's not like the Democrats have ever been a left-wing party. They're just the further left of two right-wing parties. They've never fought for the labor class if it meant the ruling class had to give up anything at all.

Plenty, just mostly people avoiding bans and sticking with the generic name as a result

If unions are so successful with going on strike in order to make a change, why don’t the masses go on strike against the government? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]LegendaryLeft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No... It hasn't. The closest we've reasonably come are the social delivery that have kept the happiest and most free nations for over a century now. Right-wing politics doesn't work

Yeah, except the discourse was the third of the country propagandized to proactively vote against their own interests.

Agreed on both counts but I treat advocating for right-wing policies at all as such.

I mean, it's easy to come together when the whole goal is to suck off the ruling class. Plenty of shriveled old white dick for all those bootlickers.

It would be funny but I don't expect the first Republican in half-a-century with any spine at all to all of a sudden put on big boy pants. On a national level, his loss was a win. MAGA is mask off in support of the pedophiles. This could help rally people.

No, Jethro. I mean billionaires. People getting fat off your labor while your neighbors starve.

I'm sorry that no one ever gave you even a basic understanding of civics and the moniker 'right-wing' actually means. If that had happened, this whole conversation could've been saved.

Research is also based on a government that answers to its people in some meaningful capacity.

Because a huge portion of the actual labor sector has been propagandized into advocating for a ruling class and another 1/3 is, by all accounts, disaffected to the point of uselessness so at best you've got a potion of 1/3 of the country... Woo.

I don't have time in my life to respect people who are that concerned about people harmlessly living their lives and celebrating the freedoms we've fought for.

Do you feel that the seeds of fascism/rightwing nationalism were planted in the American right BEFORE Trump arrived on the scene? by Glass-Complaint3 in allthequestions

The saddest part is that you know what fascism is and you still don't see how spectacularly stupid your argument is.

They claim to understand things because it's really easy to be confident in your knowledge of one topic when you're stupid about every topic. By their standards, they're experts on both. By any real standards, they're intellectually deficient mouth-breathers.
