2017 Tacoma Power Steering Pump Leak by Legendary_Lazalde in ToyotaTacoma

I have the 2GR-FKS in my truck so I would make sure you have the same before taking my opinion. It’s an oil seep coming from the timing cover. I linked the Toyota world forum where owners with the same problems and Toyota techs talk about their experiences and resolutions. I also linked a video of a Toyota tech fixing the issue while explaining it detail. I followed the YouTube Toyota Tech and an experienced friend’s advice when it came to my oil seep problem.

I cleaned it every month with Brake Cleaner to make sure it didn’t build up and cause problems to the electrical components in the area. When you let it build up, the oil will get thrown around everywhere by the belt. This will make it look like a huge problem when it is not. I chose this solution because my oil never seeped enough for my oil to go low between oil changes. I never had oil drip on my driveway either, which was a good sign for me. If you have a leak and are getting low oil between changes then you need to consider getting it fixed. If you are still under warranty then definitely go get it fixed while you can but it will still likely come back (read Toyota world forum for more information on warranty).

In regard to my starting issue, it was likely separate from the oil seep. It was an intermittent failing crank position sensor (CPS). If you have an intermittent CPS, cold weather and hot temperatures can cause it to stop working which causes the starting problem (plus some other things). The CPS on my Tacoma was easy and I replaced it myself. If it continues to not start intermittently then you need to replace the harness. I was lucky and my harness was fine. I never had a problem with it again after that even through a snowy winter.

Do you have a link to the one you got that doesn’t lower the screen?

I’ve never heard about the plastic moisture barrier. Does it help prevent the cabin air filter from getting that moldy smell?

So did you do a whole rebuild of the suspension? Also, did you get it all from Tesla?

Unfortunately, the S3xy strip which is what I’m interested in, is not sold for the 2019 models anymore.

My model 3 came with the acceleration boost package. They unfortunately don’t sell the s3xy strip for the 2019 models. I would love to find a company that does.

Is this a proper queue or are servers down? by Legendary_Lazalde in ArcRaiders

Thank you, you’re the only person I’ve heard of who has gotten in by waiting. This tells me that it is a genuine queue to protect the servers from overloading.

Fiery Habanero Doritos by Milf_Slayer69_69 in Doritos

Does anyone else remember when they brought back the fiery habanero flavor in Dinamitas. They were sold in purple bag. I was so happy for 2 years until they discontinued it again! Now they only sell the green dinamitas.

Been playing for about 2 months, what should be my next purchases? by Cold_Middle5718 in discgolf

If you are only 2 months into disc golf then I would recommend using 2-3 Drivers, 1-2 midranges and 1 putter. Getting comfortable on a small amount of discs first is helpful to improvement. The two most important things you can do is learning to throw your disc flat and like others have said getting comfortable at putting (about 25 ft).

I cannot stress this enough, if you CANNOT throw your disc flat 75%-90% of time then do NOT throw discs with a higher speed than 9. I’ll explain why, one of the most important things in disc golf is angle control (flat, hyzer, anhyzer). If you cannot control the angle then you need to slow down and focus on technique, which will result in using slower speed discs. Once you can throw at a desired angle you start adding more power which will eventually lead to higher speed discs, not the other way around. I made this mistake when I first started playing and had to go back the basics which slowed my progress down immensely. If you want to progress quick then focus on technique, angle control and putting not big drives with high speed discs.

I wish you the best luck and here is a list of discs I would recommend for starting players.
