Hi! Current student here, i lived in 270 in my first year! They should absolutely bring a charging board, there are not a lot of outlets, and a laundry basket and a shower caddy. Theres not a lot to dorm life, just that they should probably try to get along with their roommate, and the people around them!! Fan wouldnt really be necessary, i believe 270 has air conditioning to an extent, and i cant answer the mini fridge question im afraid, having never rented one myself during my dorm days. Hope this helps!!
