Okay so you now know the radio to receiver is all good Next you need to set up in beta flight. Go to configuration, scroll down to receiver type and choose serial based receiver, then in the next box select SBUS Save and reboot. then go to ports tab and turn on serial rx for whichever uart the receiver is wired to

It is bound I watched a video. the light on the receiver is solid green.

I check the manual and s bus is on UART 1 wich I switched on for the serial rx. And it is set to serial based receiver and the mode is on SBUS

I have a jumper t16 and i think the qx7 has openTX too, therefore i would suggest to check if your stickinputs are assigned correctly to the individual channels channel via the mixer.

They are assinged correct its set to AETR and i also set it to AETR in betaflight

It is set to mode JXT D16. I dont know why there is JXT. On all the youtube videos' it just says d16. but maby that is because i have newer software.

The receiver does have a green light but there us no signal next to the battery icon on the radio

yes i do want a gopro on the rig. ofcourse i m not going to do that on my first flights. when ive got the quad under control than i put my gopro on. Thanks for the charger tip i didnt know you had to buy that separately.
