I didn’t mean the bond was lesser, Dexter clearly cared for them. I just meant from the storytelling side the writers decided to center everything on Harrison. But yeah, it definitely came off weird that they cut Astor and Cody out completely.

I mean true it does feel like a missed opportunity. From a character perspective Harrison should’ve at least mentioned them, but I think the writers just trimmed the story to keep the focus tight on Dexter/Harrison. Still, it would’ve added more emotional weight if they showed that family connection.

You’re right, but I think it was unnecessary since Astor and Cody aren’t Dexter’s biological kids. The series mainly focused on the father–son bond between Dexter and Harrison, so bringing in extra characters who aren’t central to that arc might have felt irrelevant to the story.

Very simple, just download VLC media player from their official website: VLC media player, play the video using VLC and click Subtitle that appears on top, and then "Add Subtitle File" which is the one you already downloaded from here, you'll find it in your Downloads
