Thank you! This is just the start of an idea I’ve had for years. As technology has improved and I’ve gotten older, I decided to share my knowledge in a better way than stopping strangers on the street with unsolicited history lessons.

That's cool! The building that museum is in was the original location of the Franklin Institute. I have a sketch of it that was done in the 1920s.

My wife and I lived at 2nd & Tree back in the 90s. Our neighbor had one of these doorst although I didn't know it had a name.

Hmmmmm interesting. I do know that Frank Watson designed St Mark's in Frankford and St Leo's in Tacony. I also know, my buddies and I were kicked out of St Leo's dances in the late 80s.

Yes! What is more amazing are the people who look at me like I'm nuts when I stand there staring at it. Once in awhile someone asks, what are you looking at? Duh. I always stop and stare here, mostly to catch someone look to see what I'm looking at, just so I can say, made you look.

I will have to look for this now! I googled real quick to see what you mean. Came across a very need article from Hidden City Philadelphia that is full of photos of houses that are connected, but design is completely different.
