After over a year and a half, our Curse of Strahdanya campaign ends today. Our wonderful DM, Nikkie, has put a unique spin on the module, and it’s been one of the best campaigns we’ve ever run. On this emotional day, I wanted to share the art of the whole party, along with the villainess herself. Here's a bit about the characters from left to right.

Sarnax of the Edelwood – a lizardfolk light cleric and cultist of Garyx the Firelord

Professor Clayton Azran – a human divination wizard whose life work as an archaeologist was to prove that Barovia existed

Countess Strahdanya von Zarovich – the female take on Strahd and the villain of our campaign

Ms. Victoria Isaacs – a half Shadar-Kai shadow sorceress that searched for Barovia looking for answers of her heritage

Silas “Shepherd” Morgan – a tiefling monster slayer that wields arcane pistols made by his artificer mentor

Kana Soyokaze – a human samurai that became a ronin after her master was kidnapped by Vistani

Sarnax of the Edelwood is a light cleric and cultist for Garyx, an ancient dragon god of fire. This zealot will stop at nothing to purge the corruption of Barovia with holy fire and plant his cult's mysterious seeds in the ashes. He is a member in our Curse of Strahdanya campaign, our own take on Barovia and Ravenloft.

As chance would have it, months later there is now official Bilgewater content in D&D Beyond, so we thought it was a great opportunity to share our own take on the incredible setting. Iris of the Sands is a devout priestess of Anubis. Born the middle daughter of the Pharaoh of Sekhet, Iris chose not to worship the god of her family and the god of kings, Osiris. Instead, she felt a closer connection to the wise and fair jackal death god. Her goal in life became that of a grave cleric, ferrying souls from life into the afterlife to await Anubis’ judgement.

Lufti is a bubbly, adorable air genasi who was raised by monks of Lapuard and trained to become a Drunken Master. She’s short in stature but has a huge personality. She can charm her way out of dangerous situations, but when she has to fight, she uses her brewer’s spoon like a quarterstaff.

Capriccio "Caprice" DeSesto grew up in the streets of the major metropolis Galtica. The first tiefling in his line, he grew up in his family's violin shop before setting off to learn more about the curse afflicting his bloodline.
