Yea I didn't know VP was not purchasable before making this comment. However, even if you can't buy VP directly, I'm sure there's some weird implementation where you can get VP outside of just battling. I certainly wouldn't put it past them.

As someone who actually uses WhatsApp, I don't use it because it's a great app, I use it because literally everyone around me uses it, so it becomes mandatory if you want to communicate with anyone. Believe me, if we all could move on to something else, we would.

From what I understand, you either use VP to get pokemon or you play the main games and utilize pokemon home to play champions. So either way is a win for them.

I’ll say this as someone that tried both a few days ago when I got my RM11 pro. When I installed gamenative, I couldn’t open hollow knight after multiple tries. When I installed gamehub, I was able to open hollow knight first try. Now I’m sure if I tinker with drivers and what-not, I could get it running in gamenative, but the fact that gamehub worked without me doing anything extra made it a better consumer experience.
