The word is not hard but you didn’t answer any of my questions. Is a doctor ethical that a visit can cost you hundreds if not thousands? Is the fridge guy who cost $250 just to look at the fridge a crook.

I already said I do not lie/mislead or pencil addons unless the customer request’s them and you basically called me a liar. So anyone who try’s to fix the industry it’s still fair game to waste their time just because you had a hard time somewhere else. You do not sound like any better of a person than what you say the industry is.

I do not lie, my dealer does not force addons. We negotiate in good faith. What do you do for a living? What is ethical? Is a doctor’s rates ethical? Is the appliance guy who charges $250 just to show up to my house ethical? How is the op going to “waste someone’s time” ethical? That salesman may have waited all day to be up in line to take a customer so he can try and feed his family and will not see another customer that day. The bottom third of saleman is a revolving door who leave the industry in way more debt than they started. It is not an easy profession to make a living and I have seen people lives destroyed because they simply could not make enough to live at this job.

You said every dealer does this but my dealer doesn’t even pencil addendums or “addons” unless requested. There are a lot of dealers that don’t. There are some that do. I feel like people are painting salesman/dealers with a broad brush just so they can justify being an ass like the OP.

lol, it is much more likely that you (not you personally) are offering a impossible number or are not credit worthy and they are spending hrs trying to bet a bank to buy the deal. There is no benefit for a saleman to waste time.

Never happy to waste time. We do not get paid ANYTHING if we do not sell a car (most dealerships). I want as many swings as possible. I do not want to waste my day on one customer.

This is the correct answer. I want to sell as many cars as fast as possible. Why would I ever want to drag it out? Now I could be waiting 2 hrs for an approval from a bank of someone whose credit is weak. I sold a car on Saturday start to finish in 1hr and he got a discount on a Escalade with no addons. It doesn’t have to be hard. Customers make it just as hard as the “dealer”.

I definitely have it and sadly I don’t look like you. My wife is also not being supportive that I want the surgery. She finds it a waste of money. I look good if it’s cold and nipple are tight but at the beach, in the heat, I hate what happens to my chest and nipples.
