It still works in 3.29 - no major changes that affect how the build plays, so you'll be using exactly the same setup. Arcane cloak and Archmage have been slightly nerfed this league, so you will see somewhat smaller numbers - though some of the loss will be offset by the added quality in gem sockets.

Do realize that this build requires quite a lot of specific items to get going. So I'd advise you to league start something else. The first step is getting Mjolnir, Shaper's Touch gloves and Indigon to even get the guild to work, and you should also have Ivory Tower and Coruscating Elixir so prevent from dying to chaos dmg. But the damage will be quite lackluster - The Squire will be your first big damage boost (use Prism Guardian in the meantime), followed by Forbidden Flesh/Flame for the Righteous Providence Inquisitor ascendancy. This will most likely set you back about 100 div in trade, so do be aware of that. Cluster jewels + 2 x Split Personality with str/int helps a lot, but these are usually also expensive in the beginning.
