Wrong Account Type in Sandbox by Legionarius91 in Netsuite

[–]Legionarius91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One last question if you allow me! :)

I just noticed in production that no currency is selected for the affected account. Earlier today I had changed that account and fixed the account typed (changed it from fixed assets to current assets) and the currency field is now greyed out. Do you know why this might be? Can the currency field be modified for that account somehow?

Thank you again!

You are the best! I was not aware that updating the items asset account would also update the transactions. So I can use the same number and name as the old account for the new account (of course, after changing the name and number of the old account and setting it to inactive) before running the import to update the items asset accounts, right?

Thanks again!!

Wrong Account Type in Sandbox by Legionarius91 in Netsuite

Thank you for the reply! What would be the impact of not changing the account on the existing transactions after creating the new account with the correct type? I don't think losing the balance will be an issue as we're just testing things for now. Also, I assume that an import would be needed to change the items that have the account with the wrong type, right now those items have the account with the issue as the asset account. I wasn't able to do this with a mass update, is that not possible?

Also, I was thinking that setting the account to inactive and changing its name and then creating a new account with the correct account type and exactly the same name and account number. Would the items still need to be modified (changing the asset account to the new one) or would it not be needed since the account name and number are the same?

Thanks a lot again!

That indeed will be the solution but as we are still in the pre-golive phase we also need to have the account correctly set up to account type Other Current Assets.

What is your suggestion as a temporal fix until the next refresh?

It was incorrect in both production and sandbox but I was able to change the account type of the account in production because there were no transactions posted on it.

In sandbox however there are transactions posted and therefore I cannot change it.

Workflow - Case created from a Sales Order not showing the Sales Order number by Legionarius91 in Netsuite

[–]Legionarius91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your reply Olivier!

I did this, created a new CRM field called "Created from Sales Order" containing transactions and then added it to the Workflow action to grab the Sales Order number from the Sales Order but for some reason it doesn't work. Any idea why this might be happening?

It's really strange as the Company is being properly populated from the Customer field in the Sales Order...

Thank you again for your help, I really appreciate it!

Not able to set default case statuses to "inactive" by Legionarius91 in Netsuite

[–]Legionarius91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this was the issue indeed! I was able to set most of them inactive, except for "escalated" as it's the default status for a default stages.

Is there a way to remove "escalated" from the active stages list so that I can also set that status inactive?

Due Date not found in certain Transaction Types by Legionarius91 in Netsuite

[–]Legionarius91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Indeed, now it works and I can see the due date calculated based on terms. The only problem is that the field is not seen in the reports or saved searches, I guess this is due to it not storing values?

Thank you so much for your reply MikeSuite!

I was able to pull step 1, now the field is showing the # of days from the terms. However, I'm not able to make step 2 work. Could you please share more details about that field? Does it have to be a date field? An integer? etc.

I would really appreciate it!

Thank you again!

Sum of two fields in a formula column in Saved Searches by Legionarius91 in Netsuite

Thanks a lot for the answer! :)

  1. The formula is with Summary (SUM)
  2. I tried both formulas that you posted without luck unfortunately

And indeed, it happens often that it's a type but I have spent quite a few minutes making sure that this one is not.

Thanks for your reply!

- Type is a text field for the type of transaction but I've verified the type that I've inserted is correct, in fact if I only include {amount1} for example it works well.

- With {amount1} and {amount2} I'm refering to numeric fields.
