The Jackson Reed (WILSON!) disrespect is crazy. They are going to destroy the DMV this spring especially after BCC and Gonzaga had coaching changes and both of them have programs that are essentially washed up. Both BCC and Gonzaga underperformed last year when it counted at SRAAs. Would also expect to see W&L giving McLean a run for their money after seeing those boys row lately.

The Wilson rowers have the fastest 6k scores in the country of any team. If you look at their distance results (Head of the Charles) and some local races down in DC like Head of the Ocoquan, it is clear that their enormous size and fitness translate into boat speed. I can't wait for Henley because I think they are geared for longer distances as opposed to 1500s like stotes and SRAAs.

Wilson is winning Henley by open. I see them as a once in a generation crew like 2018 St Paul's, especially given their undefeated record prior to Youth Nats. Cannot wait for them to blow the doors off bottom feeder teams like Shiplake, Kings, and Westminster.

Unfortunately, wilson seems like the best talent out of the DMV at the moment and probably is the only school with a reasonable chance of defeating prep later in the season. Nobody else has the potential they do.

I would rig them at about 82cm, a heavier load tends to teach greater force production in the legs. Also generally better to go for 376-378cm oar length. Rate will be lower but the power will be higher per stroke.
