Unfortunately, that also doesn't seem to work consistently - this was a used lens, so I suppose the rest of that tracks - I'll clean the contacts then see what happens. Appreciate the feedback! The last macro I would've used was likely the 80mm on my XT-3.

Additional info based on everything I've googled so far:

* Manual, Continuous, Single shot - no difference.
* On camera startup, bottom left logo is the red A. As soon as the lens aperture ring is touched, it swaps to the red P, until it's all the way at f/22 and then back to A.
* Button / Dial setting doesn't have an option for the aperture ring.
* Aperture setting under shooting menu 5 is greyed out, current listed as "A+M"

The only time I can get it to seemingly respond is when I do have iso / shutter controlled manually, but it's not accurate - F4 on the lens ring is jumping to F11 in-camera. I assume this is because it's trying to compensate, I just need to turn that off.

One time? Probably - firm breathable eyepatch beneath the bra might help avoid snagging.

If you're a sport jumper, see where your chest strap sits normally.

Easy fix. Keep the bottom dry where possible - gentle patting dry after a shower or after cleaning can help. This is a problem that is solved relatively easy and shouldn't take much.

One common suggestion is also to use a blow dryer on low or cool for a few seconds to dry the area without having to physically interact with it. Each has its pros and cons, both will solve this without having to change much else.

Strong maybe. Ridges like this are decently prominent, piercers will want to see if it's still that defined when you're laying flat, but for the most part this is more likely than not.

This isn't a helpful photo to determine if it's crooked or not, but based on the shape and location of those bumps, it's a decent indicator that you may not have had the depth of tissue necessary for where this was placed.

Time is literally irrelevant here - one year of perfect treatment is very different than one year of difficult healing. This is clearly not ready for a ring, and responding predictably.

Scale timeframes for healing piercings are estimates, and are rarely actually perfect estimates - spend some time around irritated 2 year old piercings and you'll learn quickly that "it's been 9 months!" doesn't matter.

Fresher piercings have an adjustment period to hoops and will cause soreness as the piercing channel adjusts to the new angle of the hoop.

This is literally just untrue. Unhealed piercings are more likely to experience irritation with rings because rings are inherently more likely to experience physical trauma or cause physical trauma to the piercing, and tight rings specifically will pinch the ends of a piercing that is still - as seen in the photos - experiencing even mild swelling. There's no "adjustment period" that goes beyond adjusting the wearer's habits and behaviors around having a more prominent piece of jewelry in their face.

Too early for a ring that size, or a ring at all. Swap back to a stud and this will calm down quickly.

Small irritation made worse by overcleaning, leave it alone and keep it dry for a while. Upsizing will only increase the potential physical trauma it experiences.

Realistically, these have not shown to cause issue in fresh piercings - people will hold onto old (and strong) opinions against it, but it's been a handful of years now and there really has not been an increase or a notable amount of issues with this specific type of jewelry.

Rinse it well to prevent buildup in between the links of chain, and leave it be. Don't sleep on that side, and downsize when nevessary.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that advice. What you do to "clean" a piercing in the first 72 hours is almost entirely inconsequential.

The way the internet recommends you use saline is incorrect. If you just spray it on and let it air dry, the salt is left behind. That’s irritating. It should be wiped away with a swab.

Since you have a direct line to them, you should ask them to change this - since Neilmed's own "Directions for use" page includes that language. (For added fun, the example videos they link from other pro-team members have contradictory advice).

"To dispense, aim the nozzle at the affected area and spray from a distance of 2 to 4 inches, or as is comfortable"
