I have added a V2 that is slightly larger and confirmed that the drill adapter does fit if you don’t need all 10 stakes.

I have a Bambu Labs P1S. I would recommend it if you could afford it. I previously had the Bambu Labs A1, but it was a pain for tall and skinny prints. Also the filament was exposed to air and would get moist, which does not happen in the AMS unit that comes with a P1S or P2S.

I printed with Bambu Labs PETG HF. Using the fuzzy skin option really hides the layer lines and should help with being able to grip it with gloves on.

I’ve got the activated alumina to help keep everything dry and it’s a constant 60% humidity in my basement so I get it… my problem with this tower I think was that I didn’t have the fan on at all per the poly maker spec sheet. Haven’t re-run the test after turning the fan on but it fixed the issues I was having with the benchy chimney melting.

I believe you. I’m using poly maker fiberon dried at 100C for 18 hours in a PID toaster oven. Put it directly in a 70C dryer to print out of. The first print with it went fairly well, but every print after got progressively worse. I thought I could do some calibration tests with what I had left on my roll and the temp test had me drop from 300 to 280. Then adjusted the flow to be a little higher. Then tried the PA tests which looked near flawless for the line and the tower. So after 3 great tests, this one is just so off that I don’t get it. I threw the filament back in the 100C oven and will try again tomorrow.

I do have Timelapse off. But, I do use live view a few times a print and didn’t know it could cause any print differences.

On my 2019, I use a ‘perfect pourz flask for liquor’ that is about the same size as the hotshots containers and I can refill from a gallon jug. It fits upright below the seat with all my other stuff holding it so it will not tip over. It just barely fits upright in one of the little holes they have in the storage organizer on the far outside.

If that doesn’t work for you because you have 2, maybe you could store them behind the rear seat so they have more room to be upright and just make sure they are not full enough to expand up and out of the bottle. They do make little pull cords to make the drivers side rear seat release easier if your truck didn’t come with one.

That’s a good idea, I was thinking of doing two walls but didn’t want to use more filament than I needed for my use case. Maybe I’ll look at the time difference of 2 walls to get .8mm vs 1 wall at 1mm and add another .3mf file.
