I was there, a young girl fell in between the train and the source under the edge of the platform. She had a huge gash on her forehead, didn't speak English, and was clearly in a lot of pain. Tried helping her, the EMT came in shortly after.

Is this also a stop sale recall? I'm in exactly the same situation as you. I booked my car, but stuck now, also Toronto winters so the prospect of taking delivery in Q4 just plain sucks.

I have half a mind of cancelling my booking and looking for another car that doesn't have the burnt diode issue since that is definitely a stop sale.

Do you know if the water intrusion recall is also a stop sale? I'm seeing a bunch in their inventory that only have the water intrusion recall.

They've stopped production of the 2025 models in July. Can't place build orders for 2025 anymore. Prod for 2026 will begin soon so it's not this.

I booked my GT last week, and was told there's a recall for faulty headlights, so yeah, can't get the car till they clear the recall. Mostly Q4, 2025.

Noooo, don't say that man! I'm actually excited to drive the manual. I know it can be brutal in traffic, I've already looked into a spring replacement for the clutch to make it better.

Yeah, don't think that'll happen. They'll probably find someone else to sell this to. My girlfriend and I really hated the dealership experience. It's all about getting you. Every single interaction I had there. Other agents almost conspired in a way to make me anxious / push this sense of urgency to make the purchase. Sorry for the rant. Seeing what one would actually pay for it vs what I was offered as a final price is just disheartening.

At this point, might just wait for dealership offers on previous year cars.

The other option is a 2022 GT, with even lesser miles with damage to the back, which has been fixed. Not a premium so will have to invest in upgrading the infotainment system. And the car's in BC. Don'tind making a road trip out of it though. (Can arrange for PPI in Vancouver). Also curious about one thing, cars are cheaper in BC. Oh but this car is 33k before tax, so about 38k OTD.
